Fernpaw smiled and padded out towards the camp entrance, and waited for Mudpaw to follow him. Once she was behind him, they slowly made their way to the border.

Mudpaw dragged her paws which felt like stones. Her eyes closed every couple of minutes by she opened them quickly.

He stopped once they got there. "Alright Mudpaw you still awake?" He turned to her and noticed she was already half asleep. So he pushed her into the ice cold water.

"AH!" She screeched as she got pushed in. She scrambled out of the water soaking wet. Her fur felt heavy with water-ice cold water. She was wide away and shivering. She looked at him and growled. She pounced and pinned him down. Shaking her fur to get him wet too. "Oh I'm going to get you back!" She growled playfully about an inch between their muzzles. "You better watch your tail!" She warned playfully.

He held in his laughter but ended up chuckling a little bit as she went in. As she pinned him down and got him wet he said a simple, "Gah!" before laughing again. Once he got up he shook most of the water off, "Yeah yeah, but see! Now your awake." He said, sticking out his tongue.

"Wo wait-" he yelled as he splashed into the ice cold water. He shot out of the water and climbed back on land, shivering from the sudden change of temperature. "Haha you got your revenge. " He shook off most of the water. "Now, lets get back to camp."
