Fawnpetal walked into the medicine cat den and approached Ebonyfang. "Hey Ebonyfang, here are the herbs we gathered." She drops the marigold, poppy seeds, and dock leaves. "I don't know why the other cats brought these herbs but i was able to find marigold." @The Ink Demon

The young tabby felt weightless. He felt a calming darkness envelop him, promising safety. Happiness. Sleep. Oh, how he craved slumber. To just close his eye, and drift into a long, deep sleep. With a heavy sigh, he intended to do just that, to give in to his desires.

Until Irisflame decided to scream in his ear.

That made him open his eye fast. And also his mouth. A shriek emerged from his mouth, and an angry look made its way toward the medicine cat. "What—? Wha, the hell,?" Instead of being asleep, nice and cozy, he was in the waking world, with moss shoved in his empty eye socket and claw marks extending across half his face. What kind of torture was this??

Poppyshine entered the den, Mousekit in her jaws and Heartkit close behind. She set the small she-cat down and sat, curling her long-furred tail around them. "Ebonyfang? Irisflame?" She called out to the medicine cat. "Are you there? I need to ask about my kits, there's something wrong with them." She looked down at her kits, regretting her word choice. "You know what I mean," she told them dismissively.

Mousekit, her tiny paws still clamped over her ears, flinched as her head throbbed yet again, the pain worsening because of her mothers call. A small whimper escaped the tiny kit, her whole body shaking ¨Mom...ma so l..oud¨ She squeaked out, pressing her shaking body against her mothers. Poppyshine could fix this, she had to! If momma couldn make the hurting go away, who could?

Heartkit suddenly forgot where she was"Momma where am I?" she whispered really scared seeing cats she didn't know.

Ebonyfang turned to see one of the cats he scent on an herb patrol. Thank Starclan at least one patrol got done. He just hoped whoever he assigned to go with him had gone. If not he would have to find them, which they won't be too happy with him as much as he won't with them. "Thank you. We'll use the marigold. Did all of your patrol mates go with you?", he asked, emotionless. There was nothing more to it. He just hoped they did what they were told.
