Primrosepaw padded over to sit beside Ravenpaw, her emerald eyes sparkling with anticipation. "That was a close call," she teased lightly, settling down next to her denmate. "But I'm sure we'll get our chance soon enough. I'm really looking forward to it!"

She gave Ravenpaw an encouraging nudge. "I can already tell you’ve got a lot of potential, and sparring with you is going to be a great learning experience for both of us." Primrosepaw's tail flicked with excitement as she added, "We'll just have to be patient and see what Dusklion has planned for us first."

"Okay." A nod as she acknowledged Rowanmane's words, a lightness in her step as they reached a more secluded part of the Abandoned Twoleg Nest. Except, right as they found a spot, Primrosepaw was suddenly calling something about handing the event over to Dusklion -- and then they were all being beckoned back by the deputy.

Wisteriawren blinked, glancing awkwardly at her companion and offering him a sheepish smile. "We go back now." She breathed on a soft chuckle, falling quiet as she trailed after him. He wasn't the only one avoiding eye contact with the deputy, actually, and Wisteriawren subconsciously settled in close next to Rowanmane, tucking herself against his side, shoulders hunched slightly in an attempt to make herself smaller. She wasn't that tall to begin with anyway.

Apprehension in each paw step, Shellpaw crept over. A fighting event? To tell the truth, he was terrified. But, he'd already chickened out of battle training with Oliverat. He couldn't chicken out again. Maybe he'd be prepared if he gave this a go? Plus it'd be easier to retreat to the sidelines if something went wrong, he reassured himself. Soon enough, they were cosily tucked away at the back of Dusklion's crowd. This couldn't be too bad, right?
