Alpinepaw was sitting there, listening to the stories. She wanted to share some, but she was worried that they will make fun of her stories. Alpinepaw cleaned herself while waiting.

Antpaw stares, unimpressed, at Basilkit. Their story was nothing worth mentioning, same with the second. Instead of fear, all it did was remind him of his own weakness. It was always apprentices going out in these stories and getting hurt becuase they were stupid idiots. Just like... Fleckpaw.

Antpaw turns to Alpinepaw. "We don't have all day. You look like you have something to share, tell your story." He snaps.

Alpinepaw froze as she realized that it was her turn. Her eyes darted all over the place for a moment before she calmed down. She was thinking about which story she should tell.

A few minutes later, she meowed quietly that only nearby cats can hear her,

I felt the blood trickle down my leg.
It was cold..ice cold.

Basilkit sat there, waiting for someone to say that they liked her story, no one did. Tears filled her eyes, even looking over at antpaw, with this awful look. A tear rolled down her face. Why was everyone being so mean? She started to finally cry. "NO ONE LIKES M-MY STORY! I GUESS IT'S TO STUPID!" she said yelling and crying, not being able to hold her feelings back.

"That's not a scary story." Antpaw snarls, even more mean tempered than usual, "That's just you being a coward. Nevermind, so you've got nothing. Even the little kit's story was better than this."

Why had he come here again? Right, it was to get his mind off all the recent cat deaths and how there was nothing he could do about them. But it wasn't helping. Nothing was helping. It was only making things worse. Antpaw rakes his claws along the ground and lashes his tail out.

The little kit sighed in relief when Wolfhive assured them that what they heard were just stories, still, they looked a little fearfull. "Phew, thats a relief..." When offered to tell a story, Wavekit stayed silent for a moment before speaking again. "You guys are telling scary stories, I think, so... Alright, I think I have an idea. My mum used to tell me this one to spook me when I was bad..." The little kit cleared their throat and began speaking to the small crowd of cats.

"Once upon a time, there was a medicine cat, her name was, uh..."Wavekit thought for a bit before continuing"Cherryleaf, yeah, her name was Cherryleaf! Cherryleaf of ThunderClan! She lived in this clans many many moons ago, even before the time of the oldest elders in this clan! She was an expert healer, and even people outside the clan came to seek her aid, and she treated them all with kindness, and their wounds seemed to miraculously dissapear, no matter how serious or how deadly, they all healed as quickly as a running nose! Many cats admired her skill, and others said she was blessed by Starclan, but nothing lasts forever..." Wavekit said these last words in a dramatic deep voice, provably imitating the way their mom said them.

"One day, without any warning, Cherryleaf got readcough and died a couple days after. The whole clan mourned her death at her vigil and cherished the times they had with Cherryleaf. But when they were about to turn back... Cherryleaf stood back up! She came back to life!! She didnt seem to know what had happened since she got sick, and she looked more lively and fit that she ever did before, her smile wider than ever, so the clan took her back in and celebrated her return for a full moon!! And in that moon, Cherryleaf kept healing cats left and right, and every cat she healed seemed to come back out of the medicine den stronguer than ever before, but the other medicine cat, Ravenflight, noticed that something was odd. After Cherryleaf had healed a cat, the warrior did become stronguer, but their mouths started... B-bleeding" Wavekit shivered, afraid of their own story, but they forced themselves to continue.

"The cats didnt seem to notice they were bleeding, when Ravenflight asked them about it, theyr just said they had eaten some red berries and that the juice had stuck to their muzzle and continued on with their day with the brightest of smiles. In just half a moon half of the clan was slowly driping blood from their mouths and a foul rotting smell came from their pelts, and only Ravenflight seemed to notice it. The poor medicie cat thought they were going insane! This continueduntil suddenly, BAMMM!!! The moon after Cherryleaf came back to life, the moon ate the sun and half of the clan went crazy!! Everyone who had been treated by Cherryleaf started attacking their clanmates! The the rest of ThunderClan fought bravely for four full days at nights until the bleeding cats were all dead. Corpses littered the camp, all of them smilling widely, and a sickly sweet smell invaded every corner. Only Cherryleaf was left!" The kit started trembling again, picturing the scenery they were descriving in their mind, but they already got into the story themselves, so they continued telling.

"Cherryleaf was peacefull, but her face was... Weird. Like, her jaw was in the wrong place, and, and.... Her eyes were... Just not there? I dont remember all the details, but she looked absolutely awfull! Cherryleaf offered to clean up the mess like she wasnt involved in it at all, but Ravenflight swiftly bit her neck and finished her off. The clan buried her body far far away from camp, near the twoleg dens, and since the body was buried, that place has been drenching with disease, and anycat that goes there comes back with blood coming from their muzzle and a wide smile on their face..."

After the kit finished speaking, they took a deep breath to calm themselves down. "H-hope you guys like it..."

Cypress’paw crouched down to basil’kit again, softly mewing, “Basil’kit, that’s silly. We all loved your story. Remember, I told you so before!” he smiled at the kit kindly, stroking her back with his fluffy tail to calm her down. “It was a lovely story, wasn’t it?” He mewed to the other cats gathered round. @PINTO BEAN

“And wave’kit, good story too. I wonder if the corpses are still there!!” he joked. He liked looking after the kits, they were funny. @Lil'Ember

"T-thank you... My mother told it much better than I did, it spooked me so much! And Basilkit, I wasnt here to her your story, b-but im sure it was awesome!" The little kits voice was still a little shaky, but a smile on their face formed when Cypresspaw told them they liked their story
