Hazelpaw opened her eyes sleepily, she wasn’t sure how long she had been asleep. Her mentor hadn’t taken her out in a few sunrises so she had been chilling around camp. She quietly sat up and began looking around the den for anyone to chat with.

When the sun sets the night begins

Nightpaw who is new to this apprentice thing entered the den, her blind eyes gazing around before she took a step. Her paws lightly stepping around the apprentices, she swiftly passed hazelpaw afraid that she would cause trouble, once making it to the back of the den she laid down on the dirt not knowing if there's a empty nest nearby. A sigh escaped her as she never relaxed herself.

The light brown molly noticed the apprentice slink her way towards the back. She followed the molly, turning her head as she walked past. Hazelpaw figured she would try to make a friend, or at least introduce herself. “Hey, you there, we haven’t met before. I’m Hazelpaw, and you are?” she asked trotting over, her tail held high.

Nightpaw licked herself before hearing a voice, her blind eyes gazing towards hazelpaw quickly, she sat up quickly as she listened to the apprentice,"Uh Er Um h-hi Hazelpaw I-Im Nightpaw new apprentice " she replied, worried in her head that she would mess up.

Hazelpaw let out a giggle, this cat was so scaredy by the looks of it. Hazelpaw quickly remembered how her mentor would scold her right now if she had seen her laughing at a newly made apprentice. She cleared her throat “Nightpaw.”she repeated the cats name. “You’ll be okay Nightpaw I’m only a moon older than you it seems,” she casually conversed.
