Midnightpaw followed Rookfire back to camp, carrying her catches back home. She dropped her three pieces of prey–one frog, two squirrels–and then she promptly followed Rookfire to go and see the deputy. Though, she didn't say anything herself.

Flytail had been patrolling the Darkwater Mire, his sharp eyes constantly scanning the dense fog and murky waters. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and rotting vegetation, a familiar but unsettling environment. Suddenly, a piercing scream shattered the mire's eerie silence—a cry unmistakably from Stonelight.
His heart skipped a beat, and without hesitation, Flytail sprang into action. The muffled sound of flapping wings mixed with Stonelight’s desperate cries drove him forward through the muck and mire. The dark, shadowy outline of a hawk became visible through the haze, its talons locked onto Stonelight’s neck as it struggled to lift her from the ground.
“Stonelight!” Flytail’s voice rang out, a harsh, commanding shout that cut through the mist. His muscles tensed as he launched himself towards the scene, his claws ready to intervene.
The hawk, disturbed by Flytail’s approach, screeched angrily, its eyes glinting with a mix of aggression and fear. Flytail’s fierce gaze locked onto the predator as he barreled forward, leaping with a powerful thrust of his legs. His claws met the hawk’s feathers with a determined swipe, forcing it to release its grip on Stonelight.
The hawk flapped its wings wildly, trying to escape as Flytail continued his relentless assault. He aimed for the creature’s wings and underbelly, each strike meant to drive it away from his injured clanmate. With a final, coordinated swipe, he sent the hawk spiraling away, its angry screeches fading as it retreated into the distance.
Breathing heavily, Flytail quickly turned his attention to Stonelight, his eyes scanning her for injuries. “Stonelight, are you alright?” His voice, though stern, was filled with genuine concern. The mire’s murky waters pooled around them, but his focus remained solely on her well-being.
The distant sounds of other clanmates approaching were a reassuring backdrop as Flytail awaited Stonelight’s response, his loyal and protective instincts guiding him through the chaos of the mire

Stonelight tried to respond but as she tried everything went black as she passed out nearly looking dead with a pool of red blood around her the last thing she thought was that she hoped that Moonkit won't cry to much if this was the last thing she saw { be quick in response cause I'm giving you 15 minutes then if it's not treated she moves on}

An uncommon outing together with the tom her mama had once chosen - and rejected - as a mate. But cries drew the youngest enforcer out and the nearest capable warrior with her, paws diligently carrying her across the Mire in swift motions as the flapping sounds of and screeches of a bird's wings echoed through the murky land; different scent trails hung in the air of both clanmates past and new walking these grounds, a fresh trail leading right to scene of assault where a wounded Stonelight - a queen at that - lay present, a seemingly worried Flytail over her, hawk disappearing in the distance above.
Sleepysunrise's eyes lifted to the sky, carefully inspecting the retreating figure before her eyes fell back down on the pair. The enforcer's presence remained silent until the thud of the queen's head pulled her out of her daze and Sleepysunrise, for the first time since her arrival, blinked. "Take her."
A dull voice told the dark warrior at her side, not bothering to look up at Darkfall as she left the queen in his paws. That bleeding didn't look good. He hung around mama often, maybe he knew how to treat this. Eyes turning to Flytail, she spoke once more. "What happened?"

Moonkit was watching and came running towards her mother Stonelight screaming "MOMMY!" Her voice cracked and she starts crying"mommy don't die on me please....."

Flytail, maintaining a steady and factual tone, explained to Sleepysunrise, “I heard Stonelight’s cries and rushed to the scene. A rogue hawk had attacked her. I intervened and managed to drive the hawk away, but she’s already sustained severe injuries and is bleeding heavily. I did what I could to stop the bleeding, but she needs immediate professional care..I can help carry her if need be.” He says while glancing back at her the fierceness of that hawk was no joke and he had acquired a few scratches of his own.

It was an odd thing, being out along with his former mate’s daughter. Of course, things weren’t going so smoothly. The massive tom hadn’t yet been to this part of the territory since it’s inclusion, however, Sleepysunrise walked amongst the mire with confidence so he did the same – it was only natural, wanting to show off in front of his daughter.
Things between them had been silent until the younger cat told him to… take her…? Blinking, The Spectre glanced down at the bleeding body of the queen – listening to the wailing of who must have been her kit. Why did he have to do it? There was no saving her anyways… Ugh. Fine.
Cold blue eyes fixed themselves upon the other cat. Why had he been out here alone to begin with? Did he not hear Dawnstar’s warning in the last meeting? ”No.” The former enforcer rumbled in a warning tone, ”I’ll handle it.” The situation required a bit of delicacy, and he’d be pissed if Stonelight died because of being handled incorrectly.
As he reached down to pick her up, he paused. Approaching footsteps alerted him that they were no longer alone. What was it? It was too loud to be a predator like a fox, but it was also too callous to be that of a ShadowClan warrior. ”Wait.” he said, fur bristling to make his already massive frame bigger as he put himself in between the approaching steps and the injured queen. ”We have company.”
