Leopardkit stared up at Sweetpaw in awe, her fur fluffing out in pride. "I bet I will! And I wills protect yous and the clan forever!" The she-kit swore to Sweetpaw, her eyes shinning excitedly.

Honeykit

As Quailheart spoke, telling her story, Honeykit nodded along and seemed enthralled with the story of this rouge. As the story concluded she spoke. "Woah! That's so brave! Is it all true, did you actually know that rogue? Monsters seem pretty scary. Did you ever see one?" Honeykit seemed to have a lot of questions. She imagined what a monster must look like. Big black twigs? Weird...twolegs are so weird..."Was Juniper ok afterwards? Can I meet him!" She'd never actually met anyone outside of WindClan. Including her father, whoever that was. I bet he was really cool! Her thoughts drifted back to the story. "Thank you Quailheart, that was really cool!" She was still excited to hopefully get answers to her questions, however she figured she should say thank you before she forgot to do so.

Quailheart smiled at the kit, recalling the
tom fondly. "Yes, it is true. It's true as the fact
Lightningstorm's our wonderful medicine cat, or that
Twilightstar's our leader." she said softly, blinking
away the memory. The truth was, Juniper was dead.
Not that she could say that to the kit after she'd gotten
so excited, of course. So instead, she grinned in a rather
adventurous manner and mewed, "Why, I'm not sure
where Juniper resides now. But maybe when you're older
you could see him." Truthfully, she only thought he was
dead. Nobody she knew had ever survived a monster- that
she was aware of, at least. I'm glad you enjoyed it, little
friend." she purred, still thinking of him. Juniper'd been her
friend. Not anymore, since he was probably dead, but still. Honeykit
helped her remember him by caring to listen to the story.
[Ack! Sorry, It's been hectic.]

Leopardkit purred loudly at these praises. "Sweetpaw, would you wanna teach me some battle moves so I can protect the clan even better?" The kit asked, her eyes shinning and saying, 'Don't you say no.'

Sweetpaw felt a bit put on the spot. "I mean, of course I'd live to — you just saved my life, after all! The thing is... I haven't had much training yet. I could only teach you some basic moves."

Honeykit
1 Moon
Little Honeykit was still enthralled by the story. I can't wait to meet Juniper when I'm older! He must have so many more, fun stories to tell me! Honeykit thought she had heard a bird. Maybe it's a huge hawk that the warriors'll have to fight off! I wonder if I could fight one of those... She turned, looking for the bird that had caught her attention. "Well, bye Quailheart!" She looked back, flicked her tail as a farewell and padded off.
(Figured we could end here, you can obviously finish up too if you wanted?)

Cranekit rolled his shoulders, warm brown eyes blinking open. His caramel swirls shimmered in the slight rays of sun poking through the nursery walls. A small grin played on his maw and he looked around. Although it was still cold and there was a slight breeze, he noticed the freezing temperatures were finally dwindling. He was so done with shivering in the middle of the night and trying to somehow fall asleep. Slowly, the tom got to his paws, fluffing up his fur and gazing around once more. Deep brown hues landed on a grey kit and he padded over. As a greeting he chose a quick dip of his head and a tiny beam. He didn’t know how to act around this denmate yet; he’d be cautious for now. “Hey, I’m Cranekit,” he mewed softly. “Looks like there’s finally sun! 'Ts not warm yet, but better than before. Do ya like snow?” Kit life was quite boring and Cranekit was desperate for some friends. At the moment he had only his twin brother, Loonkit. He wanted to change that! Perhaps a simple conversation with this kit would help him achieve that goal.

"Snow? its okay." He allows before looking at the other kit. Hesitation fills his gaze - he does not want to do something wrong. Yet, he really doesn't care. Is there a reason that he should care? Those same eyes - once filled with a cold distance - fill with a warmth that hasn't been there. Ever. "And I'm Chasmkit." He mews in response. Maybe a friend would be nice. Maybe? Maybe not. Shrugging his shoulders, he tries to smile.
So snow was okay. Simply okay. Cranekit quirked a brow, not entirely sure what to think of that answer. He'd been expecting something like "i hate snow so much" and a reasoning, or "i love snow it's the best thing that's ever happened to me" also accompanied by a reasoning. The caramel swirled tabby did not know how he should reply, so he chose to drop the topic and talk about something different than weather. Hm, so his denmate's name was Chasmkit! He made note of the name and the tom's appearance so that he would be able to recognize him again. Chasmkit warming up and attempting a smile satisfied Crane – he was making a friend here! His first one! Perhaps he should try this more often, it did not seem too hard. He was unsure on how to continue the situation, so he just did a little mental rundown of all the possible topics. There was elder stories, sicknesses, battles, great cats, the apprenticeship ahead of them.. Yeah, talking about apprenticeship seemed like a good idea! At the moment, it didn't seem very close to the tom, as he was still 3 moons old. However, he did enjoy pondering on it. "Are ya excited for your apprenticeship? Or kinda nervous? I feel like I'm a mix of both! I dunno, having a mentor and learning stuff seems really fun though.."
