Lightfeather just stared at Lionstar blankly for a few seconds, then answered, "Okay." She really felt useless all the time, and she thought that today she would finally be helpful during a patrol, but here she was, in front of the leader of the clan she lived in, asking for them to go back. Looks like I'm mouse brained after all, not following the scent.

Salmonsong quietly walking into the den, she saw that someone was talking to Lionstar, so she flicked her tail to ensure Lionstar saw her, and stepped out, giving Lightfeather privacy as she waited right outside the den glancing around trying to not look like she was even listening to the conversation going on. Her paws kept crossing over and over again due to being nervous as she suspected she’d loose her apprentice for what happened, but she had to commend Snowpaw and Creekriver for helping her save her apprentice on her first day with Duckpaw.

ANOTHER CAT? Lionstar was going to throw something. This was like the sixth cat in the span of just a few moments.

"What is it, Salmonsong?"

Salmonsong stepped into the den, hoping she wouldn’t loose her apprentice,” I need to report an incident in the territory, concerning my apprentice, Duckpaw.” she meowed hoping not to lose her apprentice for this.

Poking her head into the den, BrambleBlaze flicked her ears as she looked at lionstar. The kit still in her jaws "Lionstar, I have something to report . " and gestured to the kit with her tail.

Grrrrrrr --- this was starting to really get on his nerves, why did they all want in his den right now. He had other things to do, things he wanted to talk to Sootflare about-- and all of these interruptions were getting in the way of that.

Lionstar might snap at this rate.

"So report." Honestly, he was getting tired of cats saying they had a report but not actually reporting until pushed. "Spit it out. I don't need the introduction, I need the content."

To Brambleblaze, he nodded to the kit. "What's with the scrap?"

Salmonsong flicked her tail,” Duckpaw was tired, being 3 moons old and staying up the night before she became an apprentice, so I agreed to give her a badger ride to the Windclan border, and she lost her grip and started rolling down the hill and fell in the river, I dove in after her, and shoved her up for air, thanks to Snowpaw who was nearby with her mentor, we were able to get Duckpaw to shore. Duckpaw’s now seeing Otterstone, it wasn’t Duckpaw’s fault, I should have known better than to agree to give her a Badger ride...I’m sorry, please don’t reassign Duckpaw. She’s my first apprentice and today was my first day with her as an apprentice. I learned from my mistake...I’ll never do it again. I’m sorry.”

This was the stupidest thing Lionstar had heard today. "Duckpaw's not dead or injured, so as long as you don't put her in danger again I don't care. You are dismissed." Stupid, stupid, stupid. Lionstar was not in the mood for dumb reports.

At least Brambleblaze wasn't an idiot. Lionstar flicked his ears at the kitten. "Give her to Sugarapple. She can name her, or.. if the kit can talk they can work out a name together."

She gave a nod " she can't even speak from what I can tell " she can't really see either...Im afraid the kit has no choice..hopefully sugarapple knows what she's doing .. "am I dismissed ?"
