Sunset woke up the next day, confused why she fell asleep in the clearing, however her mind was awake before her body, so she just sat there, her eyesight blurry and smell and hearing muffled. Finally, after a bit of blinking her eyesight got better and she recognized Shadow’s scent. “Shadow..?” She seemed truly confused for a few moments.

Sage woke the next day, his eyes squinting at the sunlight that made its way through the tree roots. He stood and stretched, leaving Navy to his sleep for a bit longer as he exited the den.

Shadow woke up to his name being called by Sunset. Immediately, he stood up and walked out into the clearing. "Sunset?" He called walking up to her. "Is something wrong?"

She blinked as the scent seemed to fade away as he walked closer to her. That sent a shiver down her spine but she shrugged it off. “You let me fall asleep in the clearing?!” She whisper shouted, obviously embarrassed but glad no other wolf had been awake yet.

She got up and stormed towards him, not in a hostile way but more humorous than anything. “Are you kidding me??”

She raised an eyebrow. “Really? That’s all you got?” She smirked and shook her head. “When’s the attack today?” Her voice grew low. Something about today felt off. She’d talk with Taka about it later.

Sunset sighed but understood. “In broad daylight..?” She seemed a bit surprised but didn’t question much else. She shifted her paws obviously nervous.

He nodded. "I questioned it as well, but that is what Amber wants. "

Navy woke up after having another bad dream. He knew this would all be over soon though. They were almost done. He stood up and walked out.

Sunset sighed but nodded. “Of course...it’s still..” She paused. “Odd...” however she shrugged it off and looked to him. “I can’t wait till i can hunt again. Or run for that matter.” She sighed looking outside the camp trying to change the subject.

Sage had two squirrels caught, one of which he was eating. “Good morning Navy. Sleep well?”

"Let's just get as close to the mountains today as we can. " He said tiredly.

Sunset pouted. “I love being a mother and all..” She started. “But i won’t be able to get a moment to myself!” She whined realizing her dream days of hunting with the pack were moons away.

Sage nodded. “We will make the treck after you eat. And on the way i want to say goodbye to my family..” He trailed off before sighing, watching him to tell him he wouldn’t budge till Navy ate.
