As he saw Snakeheart glance in his direction with a narrowed look, it only caused Kestrelwing's grin to widen. They were quite similar, and because of that it was easy to read how irritated the medicine cat must've been to discover that he'd figured out what he was going to announce before he actually did. The gray tabby kept his maw shut, but just lifted a paw to place over his own heart, a slight dip of his head directed at Snakeheart. "Well done, Snakebite." It wasn't a yowl of sorts, but loud enough to reach the ears of Snakeheart.

His speech was rather long, but something about it lit a flame within Kestrelwing. The sense of urgency, the need to propel RiverClan into greatness - the warrior was not alone in that ideal. He silently prayed to dead stars he did not believe in that the rest of RiverClan would feel the same way, and the rallying cry started by Snakeheart would be enough to bolster them to a place of rebirth and rebuilding RiverClan.

It was almost enough to cause tears to his eyes, as this was the first outward display of Clan loyalty that he had seen in quite some time, at least in this magnitude. Someone that cared about this home as much as he did. He placed his paw back down on the ground, claws sliding out of their covers subconsciously as Snakeheart continued on about rising from the ashes.

There was a bright future ahead of them, and Kestrelwing knew that this meeting marked the start of a new era for RiverClan. One where the entire forest would know their name and respect their borders. One where his Clanmates would rise up to meet every challenge with double the tenacity and ferociousness of any of their opponents.

He was ready for this new era.

Toadpounce was impressed, while Reedkit bounced around eagerly, and Silvercreek nodded slowly. All of them looked up at the Streamstone proudly before chanting, "Snakeheart! Snakeheart!"

Snake heart! Snake heart! ~he chanted..rainpuddle had a warm and good feeling in his heart~

Raising his voice, Fishspeckle cried out the medicine cat’s new name,
“Snakeheart! Snakeheart!”
What a wonderful name! Fishspeckle had such hope for RiverClan’s future now.

"Snakeheart!, Snakeheart", Sparkpaw cheered. Even though their leader and deputy were both dead, they still had Snakeheart. And even though he was just a medicine cat, she was very confident, that along side Lionstorm, he could lead the clan to victory.

Heronflight liked Snakepaws new name. It fit him just perfectly. She let out a purr and joined in with her clanmates chanting. "Snakeheart! Snakeheart!", she called. The medicine cat was so wise she believed him. With him Riverclan would not fail. Heronflight began to try and think of some events. She wanted to come with one just so she could talk to Lionstsorm. She hadn't d a feeling he knew who she was and she felt it was time.

Ughhh, what a boring speech, whatever, he said his name was...Snakeheart now? Wow such a nice name, honestly, she thought it was funny how the suffix of 'heart' could be changed with certain prefixs, whatever. "Snakeheart, Snakeheart." She 'cheered', but not very enthusiastically.

Featherbreeze nodded in agreement. "I think that it will probably be one of the more experienced warriors that are maybe just a step below a senior warrior. One that has been in the clan for a long time." That was her best guess for who the new leader and deputy would be.

"Snakeheart! Snakeheart! Snakeheart!" Barkfuzz chanted when the medicine cat had finished speaking. He felt empowered by the tom's word, and his voice rang with a renewed power. He would do everything he could to help his Clan, and was excited at the prospect of making his Clan a better place. RiverClan was still the best, and admittedly he didn't really see anything wrong - their territory was peaceful (save for the new coyote discovery) and newleaf was on the horizon! How could anyone be upset when they were surrounded by beauty?

Barkfuzz licked a forepaw and drew it over his ear. RiverClan would get through this - he knew it.

Blizzardsky cleared his throat,” I’ll be clan leader, I’m obviously the best choice. So I assume you’ll be announcing my leadership next clan meeting?” he meowed giving a large smile to Lionstorm and Snakeheart, hopefully they’d call him in to ask him to take the rank.
