//You can have Cow explain to Woolly the training they're looking for and she'll hop to it in the next post
Woollyfeather sat in the clearing, enjoying her time to herself when she saw a kit approach her. She looked at Cowkit and smiled at them politely. "Hello little one, what can I do for you?"

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
➛ riverpaw ;
; she/her | six moons.
--clouded eyes drifted over the clearing, as if she was truly trying to soak it all in through her unseeing gaze. pale, surprisingly silky fur draping down her figure as she loafed, swiping her tongue over her paws. a gentle breeze swept up leaves; riverpaw's ears perked as she listened to the leaves rustle. just because she could not see, did not mean that she could not listen or feel. a shiver crawled up her pelt. lifting herself back to stand, her head swivelled, trying to find someone to talk to.
Honeyfeather sat in the clearing, hoping to go on a patrol but knew it most likely wont happen. Their long fur bristled as a breeze went by and they sighed as they watched everyone. Maybe they could ask to go hunting... But that would mean talking to an enforcer and they were terrified of them, mainly because her best friend warned her about them right before they vanished. She left and didnt come back. Their beautiful tabby-like fur rippled as she got back up and padded along the edge of the clearing.

Wandering on wobbly paws into the clearing was one of the many things Wrenkit loved to do apparently. And as the sound of black and white paws came smattering from the direction of the Nursery, Wrenkit's curious green hues followed not-so-long after. Giggling happily, as if she'd just committed the biggest crime there was, Wrenkit tumbled after a mossball that seemed to be evading her paws, eyes bright with excitement.
Unfortunately, though, it only took one fling for the toy to go bouncing across the clearing and straight into a bush, and Wrenkit had been sufficiently distracted from all other things. Swaying on her short legs, the chubby kitten wandered over to the enemy in question (a highly dangerous, kit-bullying bush), who had so mercilessly stolen her mossball. Face scrunching up in an expression that was probably meant to be confusion, Wrenkit plopped backward onto her rump to reach out two small paws, letting out a 'Hrrrrrrrmph' of contempt when she was unable to reach the object that was much too high for her little height.
But like the not-very-smart kit she was, Wrenkit continued to keep reaching for the object as if it'd fall into her paws on its own. That had to be possible, right?
The mostly white she-kit was slightly apprehensive as she watched a younger kit miss the mossball over and over again. Maybe a moon younger than her, but decidedly less worrisome and cynical. A small trace of amusement was in her yellow hues as the little kit catches after it, before eventually tossing it into a bush. A bush that was literally bigger than the kit.
Shadekit watched as the little one tried to retrieve it, becoming more and more annoyed when she couldn't. She was like Seedkit, always playing and getting into predicaments like this.
Her expressions slightly soured anyway, as it did unconsciously, before turning to Mousekit, whom she had promised to eat some food with. "Should we go help her?"
Autumnkit wanted something to do. He had already attempted to catch three birds today, each failure leading to him unfortunately falling out of a tree. Ow. He was totally fine, though- after all, warriors always landed on their feet.
He swiveled around for any unsuspecting cats to spook, settling for a very elegant looking apprentice who was staring up at the trees. Hopefully she wasn't thinking of catching birds up there, either.
He stalked over, hoping she wouldn't notice his approach, and once Autumnkit was in striking distance- bam! He pounced onto her tail, little kit paws batting at the fluff playfully.
(I thought a mute cat and a blind cat interacting would be funny...)

--both the small stomp on her tail and the teeny-tiny paws of her offender let her know that it was a kit that probably had no idea what it was doing. however, she couldn't see who it was and identify the small child, instead relying on their spoken words, of which would turn out to be no use. “hello?” she queried, rising from her place. whiskers twitching as she lowered her neck, she felt around for the kit, until they brushed against it. she assumed she was facing the child. “who are you? what's your name?”
and why in the world did you jump on my tail, little child?

Autumnkit squinted up at the pale molly as her whiskers tickled him. Why was she... feeling around for him?
Wait. Is this Riverpaw?
He knew there was a blind apprentice in the clan, which he usually wouldn't take note of, but now he would need to figure out how to respond to a cat who couldn't see his regular paw motions. Oh no...
He bumped his head against her paw, confirming where he was. It would be a little awkward to run off now, since she might think he was purposefully ignoring her questions.

Happy, half prancing, half hopping steps clearly displayed the gray tom's giddy mood as he walked besides his Auntie Shader. Or just Shader. Calling her Auntie was... admittedly a bit strange, even for Mousekit. Besides, if all went to plan, he would steal her away and convince Sunsetthorn to adopt her and and, they could be siblings instead, yes yes yes. Mum was much better than Stinkyshadow, as far as Mousekit was concerned. And she would never think Shader was a disturbance, nope. So, just Shader was fine for now!
Turning to the white furred molly - he had to ask her what she wanted to eat, by golly, just to see if she liked the best of snacks... which was obviously frogs - the monochrome kit's green gaze grew momentarily confused, seeing the sour expression on her face. Gasp! Had she guessed what he was going to ask and she hated frogs?! Oh noooo! Friendship ruined before it could even start! Well... okay, maybe not ruined. But but... then Mousekit wouldn't be able to share frogs with Shader, and be forced to eat them all himself. Wait... why was he complaining about this? This was awesome! Best thing that could have happened, yes yes yes! Shader was the best!
The young tom almost drooling at the thought of a delicious frog was brought out of his reverie by Shader's question, making him shake his head quickly as he regained focus, first on her, then on whoever Shader was talking about? Flicking one rounded ear as he tilted his head to get a better look at the black and white kit, the tom's whiskers twitched for a moment before turning a very, very, utmost seriousness look at his friend. Because! Because. Shader had obviously seen how distressed this younger kit was! Gasp! Tragedy! But then! But then. She had decided to come to the rescue! Because Shader was just like his Auntie Larky. Kind and thoughtful, yes yes yes. Actually... maybe the name Auntie Shader wasn't so far off after all?
"Oh yes yes yes. I think we should, we should. Looks like she lost something, yes? Yes! What if it was important? You are so nice, Shader! Plus plus, we can invite her over to eat with us once we help her! More friends! Victory!" Mousekit mewed with glee, giving a cheerful leap in the air at the proclamation of victory before rushing off to the black and white kit, making sure to not leave his Auntie Shader - nope, that still sounded weird - behind while calling out to their new friend. "Hello hello! How do you do? My name is Mousekit. This is Shader! Pleased to meet you."

| His kitnapping scheme is a reference to a different roleplay - set a bit after this one - where he is trying to turn his "secret" base into a den where he can hide all of Elmshadow's kits and then be a family with them and Hazelkit. It's going to end before it even starts, but he doesn't know that. |
