Hawkfur dropped his three mice into the prey pile, giving a nod to Crowtooth. "Beautiful at Starry Meadow," He meowed conversationally. "Snowpaw did well--caught a rabbit by herself." He waited for Snowpaw to drop her prey and give any updates before padding off.
[Hawkfur delivered 3 mice!]
Snowpaw dropped her rabbit and said, "All by myself, my first catch ever!"
Kestrelpaw and nyme have been arrested for disorderly conduct, and because they were looking so happy. They are in a pitch black, awful dungeon. they will never escape. PINTO BEAN has joined them, arrested for having a migraine.
Trotting into camp with the apprentices after him Crowtooth gestured for them to leave the herbs before dismissing them to do whatever and turned to talk to the medicine cat. "Evenin' Lightnin'! Sorry we're a mite late, I detoured ta pass on some huntin' knowledge. But we got some good herbs fer ya so ya should be tided over fer a bit."
In total the three cat had brought back 7 daisy leaves, 5 ivy vines, and 2 cobwebs which wasnt all that bad a haul and the tom was pretty pleased. Not much else to say though so he just waited to be dismissed unless Lightningstorm had anything else to say.
Rabbitpaw frowned as he realized that the warriors listed to go out and check the border with him were now, not around. Where could they have gone? He wasn't sure, but it was late now, are they still going? The apprentice startled as he realized that it was probably too late now! Oh dear! The blonde apprentice sulked over to his mentor and avoided eye contact, sad that he had already failed a patrol, only his second patrol ever and he was already ruining it and the ones his own mentor called too at that! "Umm, Crowtooth, I don't know where the others...umm went, I never left camp...I mean I couldn't. I was waiting for the others and then didn't really realize how late it had gotten...I umm, what should I do next time this happens, I just..couldn't leave camp or anything by myself. Sorry..." The apprentice felt incredibly guilty. He had gotten an important task of border checking and he failed!

Rabbitpaw came back and reported the patrol to the most important border hadnt come back, something that irritated the tom badly, but he sighed releasing the anger to not bring it down on his apprentice. "This aint yer fault Rabbitpaw, thanks fer tellin' me. You'll be exempt from punishment given yer an apprentice not allowed out on yer own an' that ya've told me.
Ya can either go off an' do whatever or stick around an' join one o' the make up patrols ta get the experience. Yer choice."
That was all he really could do in this case and a large black paw reached up and patted the apprentice before the fury moved on.

Next was Hawkfur and his apprentice and the fury lightly teased a glare and taunted "Yer cuttin' it close ta the deadline you two. Buuuuuut Ill forgive ya. Good work ya'll! Make sure its in the prey pile an yer good!"
(Mica as soon as the mice are submitted in a patrol youre clear!)

Crowtooth was a bit confused to see Honeypaw returning long after Deadmoon (who'd already reported) but kinda dismissed it moving on to more important topics.

There were a lot of cat who'd not reported and Crowtooth was furious. The toms jaw was grinding, fur bristling and even with his raspy voice he bellowed a call out to the slackers.
"SWIFTFIRE, BLAZESONG, THUNDERSNOW! YER ALL LATE AN' BETTER 'AVE A GOOD EXCUSE OR IMMA HAVE YER HIDES!"
Frankly he was most disappointed with the border patrol, who'd clearly never even gone back however Warmsuns patrol might get a lighter sentence if they brought back a lot of prey as Crowtooth had watched them leave. It was infuriating that the most critical border hadnt been done really, especially so close to the planned raid. Even if Swiftfire had dipped (and boy did that sting) Blazesong and Thundersnow should've gone but hadnt. It was all bitter really and Crowtooth was going to make sure the cats made up for their mistakes or else.
Some patrols trickled in as time passed but some were unfortunately absent, something Crowtooth would have to address harshly.

Thundersnow was the first to show which was honestly surprising. He was the slowest out of all of them, he honestly fully expected to be last. He already knew it wasn't good whatever was brewing and he wasn't about to argue otherwise. A patrol had been missed, a stain in what little he'd done for the clan. A demotion was certain. At this point it wasn't even embarrassing, it was deserved.
With slouched shoulders, the tom hobbled over. He nodded his head at the fury and sat down. He had no excuses, no reason to not have taken control of the situation. Might as well sit and take it, he didn't have much to say anyhow.
