"Surely..." Minkvenom agreed, eyes wandering away from Rowanlark and around the frozen world. Clear spires dangled from Thunderclan's mighty trees, their frozen surface twinkling like Starclan, if the dim light hit them right. For all the hardship and suffering Leaf-Bare brought, there was still a unique beauty to it all.
The warrior's black head turned again, long fur swaying as she did. Her nose wrinkled looking for a gap, a crisp puff of fog exiting with her huff. As much as she would have liked to be better than her clanmates, she had to admit they did a thorough job with their patrol.

"Ah, I don't think we're any good here. Should we head up a bit further? Or take a turn here?" The molly asked Rowanlark, crunching pawsteps coming to a halt in the powdered snow. It was only now that Minkvenom could feel the real cold of the area. She silently hoped that her clanmate would decide quickly, for the sake of their paw pads.

Bright eyes examined the area as the two walked, Rowanlark keeping an eye out for anything out of the ordinary. It seemed that all was well, though, leaving him with nothing to worry about– quite disappointing, honestly. He wanted something to do!

Lost in his observations, however, the fluffy warrior almost missed Minkvenom's question. Rowanlark blinked and turned to her again. "Ah... perhaps we could turn here?" he responded in uncertainty. Decisions weren't his strong suit. Shifting back and forth on his paws, a shiver wracked through his body. Even the fluffiest of warriors couldn't protect their paw pads from the cold, it seemed.

Bluetpaw sat in the clearing, her tail lying straight out on the ground behind her. Shyfur had been demoted because she was foolish enough to go to the Gathering ahead of Bumblestar, and Bluetpaw herself had been reassigned. Her ears twitched, eyes narrowing down to slits. Who her new mentor would be, she had no idea.

Although some time has passed since the loss of Shockhoney, time itself didn't make it easy... Great StarClan, it took this much time alone to make existing bearable. Creepingpaw found himself leaving the apprentice den more often, participated in clan events and the taste of prey even started to return again.

The silver and black striped tom began to quickly clean his paws after ravenously devouring a small vole and disposing of it's remains. He knew his mentor Lavendersong, who was still healing in the Medicine Cat's den, would be thrilled to see his appetite returning to normal. Licking his lips as he stood up on his paws, Creepingpaw began padding over to the Med Cats den to poke his head in and greet his mentor.

Things were looking up, despite the recent chaos and tragedies. Creepingpaw couldn't help but think about his naming ceremony, his brows furrowing as his piercing bright green stare gazed, seemingly preoccupied. Lost in his mixture of emotions, Creepingpaw's white paws suddenly stepped down on a tail of a cat unknown to him that was strewn innocently on the ground. Creepingpaw quickly leapt off of the tail he had stepped on, narrowing his eyes as his ear twitched in annoyance, "HEY! Watch where you're... sitting..." The tom cat spat at first before trailing off at the end of his sentence, the irritation in his expression melting into bewilderment at his own statement; his eyes wide as saucers at his own idiocy.

Spiderpaw laid stretched out near the apprentice's den. She was becoming accustomed to being an apprentice, but still felt...uneasy. The kind of uneasy she could only assume came from loneliness...she missed her family. And Milkbee, while extremely kind-hearted, had been busy as of late. She hadn't done much training yet...she knew she needed to do something about that. But right now...she just wanted to lay here and enjoy what she could get of the sun's rays.

Spiderpaw didn’t realize someone was speaking to her at first. It took her a few heartbeats to see the warrior’s paws had stopped moving. The dark gray she-cat bolted up with a surprised eep, dipping her head respectfully to the older cat. “Y-Yes!” She mewed timidly, ducking her head. “I’m okay…th-thank you for asking.” Despite her timidness, a small smile grew on her maw. She was grateful after all, they didn’t have to stop in their day to ask her if she was okay. It was very kind. Do I…look sad? Could others tell she was lonely? She hadn’t considered this possibility before. If they could see she was anxious though, it would track. But…I don’t want to be a burden to anycat… So…she’ll just have to get stronger! Somehow…

Bluetpaw's blue hues flicked over to the cat who had stepped on her tail shortly after she pulled it closer after feeling the jolt of pain. ''I'm sorry, but I'm just sitting here. That being said, you stepped on my tail, so I should be the one who's upset. Yet I'm not, am I?'' she pointed calmly, her eyes narrowing. ''I need to watch where I'm going? More like you.''

Dazecloud looked at Spiderpaw again, his tail flicked, "Of course, no need to thank me, I don't have anything else to do right now apart then going out hunting~! But I just did so..." Dazecloud chuckled.
