"yeah.." she shivered from the sudden blow of wind "and i have been here since.. i think 5 moons old? i was born in shadowclan, my mom got exiled and took me and my sister, but on the way to find a new home, both died from a fever.. it was leaf-bare, an owl attacked me and I managed to stumble all the way here, guess some cats found me and took care of me" AlpinePelt had quite a long backstory, she could go days rambling on and on about her life but it was too much pain for her. "I kinda forgot some things.. but I know that the owl attack was pretty ugly" on top of her head laid a big scar, it looked fresh but it had been there for many, many moons. "This is the reason I have mild memory loss, the little sh-.. owl! almost got my skull, i did shake up my brain alot from banging it on a tree in an attempt to rip it off my head, dizzy as hell after that.." she hoped Forestivy wasn't getting uncomfortable about the owl thing, so she took a breath and stopped talking about it

“Too true. My fault for hoping you could somehow be useful.” It’s verging on silly, the way Peachpaw drags his paws in leaving because he knows it’s the right thing to do but he also can’t stand not having the last word but also he knows better. Orangepaw’s given a final nasty look before Peachpaw sniffs and tips his chin up.

“I’ve got somewhere to be, now.” Not necessarily true, but it makes for a clean and easy excuse to disengage before Peachpaw does something truly stupid. “And…I’m really sorry, you know. I know it’s not your fault. Starclan clearly has it out for us, so it’s no wonder you’re still around. I know you can’t help that. Being you, I mean.”

Peachpaw gets that last bit of snide immaturity out of his system before deciding that the place he needs to be is the nursery. He’ll make a token effort to clean up in there, probably. It’s some way to be useful at least, and he’ll jog to get to it if it means bailing on this interaction with his pride still relatively intact.

Okay, the dislike is completely mutual now.
That was the most backhanded apology Orangepaw has ever heard.

He doesn't reply, though, just turns tail and walks away as well, walking as if he really doesn't care.
Orangepaw does a bit, but he won't ever admit that.

Right now, he's worried about training again.
If Peachpaw's gonna be like that, Orangepaw's gonna try super hard to become a warrior first.
Then guess who'll be better!

Mushroomfur let out an amused purr. Though he was still relatively young, he had been moved to the elders den due to him only having three legs after a badger attack. He stood up steadily, his remaining hind leg keeping him balanced. He flicked the mossball towards Frostkit once more.

Frostkit lunged on the fresh mossball, 'hunting' it by biting softly on it, before headbutting it to Mushroomfur.
They were usually on their own world, a bit shy and absent-minded, but they can't say no to a fun game like mossball!

Alpinemoon wandered around the Clearing with ease. There was snow on the ground. The snow was just above the paws. Her paws felt cold and, it was her second bareleaf.

Chasmpaw was a bit hungry. She padded to the fresh-kill pile with happiness. Surely, there was some prey! But alas, there were no prey items left... Chasmpaw lowered her head in disappointment and turned away.

Mushroomfur's eyes glinted with amusement. he picked up the mossball once more, hobbling over to Frostkit. He dropped it beside them. "Now Frostkit," he said. "Do you want to hear a story?" he asked. He had a long tale to tell Frostkit about how he had come to be in the Clan and how he had lost his leg.
