The kits chuckled as well. "How was the training like?" Crystalkit asked. "Yeah! Did you have to fight a bunch of loners?" Sapphirekit asked, hopping up. "No one dares attack the great Sapphirestar! He has fought and beat many loners!" he mewed. Crystalkit pounced on him playfully and pinned him. "Yet he hasn't beaten his little sister yet." she said and they laughed.

Blueheart shook her head in amusement. “I fought a loner once. We become good friends though.” she laughed, watching the kits play fight together. “And a dog. It was an annoying thing.” she thought of the small, big eared dog with the high pitched squeaky bark that she'd chased away from ThunderClan territory once.

Maplefall padded into the clearing from her den, last night had been a long one but she didn't just feel tired she felt odd.
"Maybe I should go to the medicine den..." She mumbled.

Forestpelt sat in the clearing, the black she cat's tail twitching back and forth as though it had a mind of it's own. Her mind was on her lost friendship...and although she was trying desperately to forget it, relationship...with Dawnstripe. But now he was gone, and it was time for her to move on. Her mind and heart had gone back to it's original hardness, since she had been abandoned by the tom, and she was beginning to wonder if love had truly been the right path for her. Perhaps she should stay away from it from now on. Forestpelt's dark forest green eyes came upwards, and she scanned the clearing to see if there were any interesting cats around. Conversation was something that Forestpelt had learned to enjoy during her time with Dawnstripe, although she wasn't quite sure if she still had it in her to have a pleasant conversation. At least it isn't snowing, and won't for a while, she thought, stiffening. She had many memories of snow, and although they had been good for a while, they had now turned from pleasant to horrible memories that she wished she could forget. She knew she wouldn't be able to- that wasn't how it worked, no matter how much she wanted to. Forestpelt's tail twitched irritably again, and she gave a small frustrated mew. She wanted to do something...although on her own, things weren't quite as much fun. Not after she had been so opened up to the world of friendship like she had been. Forestpelt sank down into a laying position, her thin whip-like tail curved around her at a somewhat awkward angle, and her eyes still glaring up like two bright lights in darkness. She did take pride in her appearance, although at the moment she looked a little disheveled and broken because of her loss. She was still worrying about him...although she knew it was wrong, she knew that she couldn't be bothered with it anymore.

Foxspring padded into the clearing without a care in the world. His thick russet pelt was clean and as sleek as it would allow. The alabaster on his chest gleamed in the dimming leaf fall sunshine. Leaf bare was right around the corner and that was the season he thrived in. Unlike the short haired cats, his thick pelt allowed him to stay warm. His Somali breed, however, gave the disadvantage of the lack of camoflauge. He looked like a mini fox. Larger than most cats, but smaller than a fox and due to this, his hunting skills change from season to season.

Foxsprings yellow hues were bright and focused on the clearing. His mind had sever though flowing into it, although they were of no importance other than his apprentice, Mistpaw. The two were getting along okay, but she was much happier and more friendly than he was. He was basically the stern father the apprentice never had. Well in his mind he was, he still knew very little about the new apprentice other than her being blind in one eye.

Pushing the thoughts away, the warrior turned his attention to a single cat in the clearing. Forestpelt. She wasn't doing anything, she seemed to be lost in thought. Many cats were like that nowadays, but hers seemed to be somber. She seemed lost, tainted by something negative. Oh how Foxspring was familiar with that. Perhaps he should strike a conversation up with her? Perhaps not. But before he knew it, the warrior seemed to be staring.

Burrpaw dropped lower and shot forward underneath his mentor, through Swiftfang's spread paws. Unsheathing his claws, he dug into the moist dirt, slamming to a stop. He used his remaining momentum to slam his haunches into Swiftfang's chest.

"I hadn't really thought of it what we're doing as accomplishing something important before..." She mewed, switching from her overexcitedness to thoughtfulness in the twitch of an ear.
"So I guess that's a no." She added, turning her attention back to Willowpaw, grinning again.
"But maybe it will turn out to be!" She cocked her head slightly to the side and blinked her green eyes.

Willowpaw simply smilled at her. "Well I do! It's like we're going to discover an amazing thing for the sake of everyone! Well ... maybe that's my imagination. I wish it was that cool." he admited. He flicked his tail on her nose. "You ate before going?" he asked. He didn't want her to have any reasons to turn back once they were there.

Moonfang's eyes filled with tears as Crystalkit had another coughing fit. She was growing weaker each day, and it worried the queen. Crystalkit looked up weakly, and looked around. "Where is... Sapphirekit?" she asked before coughing again. Moonfang tried to keep a brave face. "He's out playing. He's out having fun, it's okay..." she mewed, licking her kit. She feared that her kit wouldn't survive leaf-bare. As Crystalkit snuggled in her pelt, tears fell from Moonfang's eyes as she licked her kit. "StarClan, please..." she whispered as her kit layed still in her fur.

Maplepaw scrunched her nose up Williwpaw brushed it with his tail, but she still grinned and did her best not to sneeze.
"Yeah I ate." She mewed, then paused and stopped grinning, instead taking on her most serious face.
"Why? Did you?" She asked, pretending to be suspicious. She wasn't really sure what she was pretending to be suspicious of, she just liked to act in a way that she didn't feel in order to get a reaction from someone else. Unfortunately for her 'acting' though, she grinned again and begun to laugh at her own silliness.
