"Nearly gotcha!" Venomkit chuffed as she landed where her friend had just been. Talons curled into the moss and dirt of the nursery floor as he gained some distance. Coking her head with amusement she started slowly prowling towards him. Venom hadn't had this much fun since...well this was the most fun she'd ever had! Bet her frind was enjoying this as well! He looked just as ready for action as herself! No way he'd be able to stand up to her for long though, she'd be the best fighter in here by the time she reached apprenticeship! In her mind she already was!
Barely holding back a bout of hysterical laughter, The toygress did her best to look serious and intimidating(by the way Spiritkit was describing her maybe she was) but couldn't stop breaking into a grin. By the time she had half way covered the space between them, the large kitten had accelerated into a charge, rushing at the black tortishell, attempting the same move she did previously. Her snake like canines bared, trying to actually get a grip on him this time; she didn't want to keep chasing them about!

Spiritkit's eyes widened, pupils reducing to narrow slits at the tabby kit's sudden... Outburst, or something. Truly, something was up with her and he couldn't quite understand. He stood his ground as the kit marched towards him. He wouldn't look like a coward. He shouldn't. A warrior does not back down from a fight, no?
He was then surprised once again when she chrged at him, but this time he was ready. Before the toygress could latch her underwordly fangs onto him, he leapt to catch her with his own attack, claws unsheathed and teeth bared in aggression.

Stepping back inside the nursery with a mouth full of fresh moss that was quickly deposited into a new nest in the making, Nightshiver wasted no time in returning to her son's side with a gentle smile and a soft snuggle should she allow. Her eyes squinted in affection, head tilting sideways as she observed the growing kitten with care. ''Good.. m-morning, love;''
She hummed with a light tone as she moved to take a seat by the nest-in-making, paws deftly beginning to work it into shape after gesturing Tigerkit to come closer and join her, if she so wished. ''How.. did you... ssleep?''
She asked, eyes mainly focusing on her son as she spoke.
TIGERKIT
The kit hesitated, but he went and sat next to the she-cat. She was his ‘mother’ after all. He craned his head, looking up at her. One day he’d be that big! A big, strong warrior. That was his destiny, and he’d meet it soon. He was destined to become an apprentice any day now, then he’d train and much as he possible could!
“Mornin…mama…” he responded quietly, flicking his tail behind him. The braided tabby thought for a moment. “I slept okay—I had a dream I was a warrior!” he added a bit more energy to his voice. Not too much, not too little. On the note of being a warrior—“could mister super hawk commander guy train me sometime?” he asked, a spark of hope in his kit-squeaking.

Deadkit rested in the nursery. He was still bored. He wonder why no one wanna play with him. Deadkit take a ball of moss and play with it but it wasn’t so fun. He sighed.
Smoketail sat in the nursery as he watched his adopted kits play...he wasn't their father and he wasn't really their adopted father, but he had been spending more time with them that he considered them his own.

Bearkit's frown grew deeper as Adderkit asked more confusing questions. How could she not know what a warrior was? Bearkit couldn't remember a time before all his mother's stories about the noble cats that he would eventually grow up to join. He tried to explain, "Well... yeah, when she-cats become mothers, they move to the nursery with their kits, 'cos its safer in her, I think. Um... warriors are... well, they're grown-ups, I guess. They're the ones that hunt for us so we can eat, and they protect us, too."
He followed Adderkit's indication to see what den she was talking about. Did she mean... Dawnstar's den?! He was so shocked he had to take a moment before flat-out asking: "Wait, so your mother is Dawnstar? Really really?"
Okay so she kinda understood what this kit was trying to explain?...well okay that was lie, she didn't understand but she nodded anyway and pretended. She'd just have to ask Mother then. Speaking of Mother, this kit seemed pretty surprised by what she was saying. Yeah what was the big deal that her mother's den was very her only? Then he mentioned the name Dawnstar. That was Mother's not Mother name, she heard all the big cats call her that when they came to speak to her. "Yeah, my mother's name is Dawnstar. Why does it matter? Names are just normal things everyone has, like I'm Adderkit and you're...."
She didn't know this kits name so she just trailed of as to prove a point. "But yeah, what so important about my mother. You sound shocked?" she asked tilting her head once more. This kit was making her ask more questions then she did before, maybe there was more to everything then just the simple facts...huh...
