"Sorry I scared you." Cherrykit whispered. Then she looked up at the moon. Her eyes widened. "It's SO high!" she exclaimed. Then she remembered what they were doing. "I like hide and seek." she mewed.

"Since you scared us we hide first!" She mewed darting off, she wandered around camp thinking where to hide, she bounced to the elders den and hid behind a sleeping elder,she won't ever find me! She giggled softly

"Fine!" Cherrykit mewed. "I bet it will be as easy as catching a minnow!"
Cherrykit closed her eyes and counted to 5. Then she said "Ready or Not, Here I come!" She darted off and looked around. She over to the nursery entrance and looked inside ; nothing there! Then she quietly trotted over to the elders den. She looked inside and saw sleeping elders and... what is that? A kit's tail? She padded in quietly and touched her. "Gotcha!" she whispered.

After Cherrykit found one of the other kits, she ran out of the elders' den and called for Ripplekit. "Ripplekit!" she called. "I found one of the other kits!"

"I've never had a problem with the queens here. I know what I should and should not be doing. Maybe that's something you should learn sometime. It'll keep you out of trouble," she commented. It was insulting at first, but Coalkit really didn't mean it in that way. That was simply how she talked. Finally, Coalkit gave Fernkit a shrug. "What game do you want to play then? Mossball? Tag? Pounce?" The kit's game list could go on and on, but she kept it short to give Fernkit the option. The mostly ebony feline would really play anything without much complaint. However, she'd correct Fernkit here and there if he started doing things she knew the queens would not appreciate. At this point, it was simply to keep him from continuing to pressure her into going out into the clearing.
