Silverpool nodded and headed back towards the shore. He was a very serious tom, but good company. She waded out onto the sand and shook out her fur, although the water-resistant coat didn't need it much. "That was fun, thanks for getting me to swim," she smiled as they headed back to camp.

Gingerfur yawned as she looked around "A beutiful day." she meowed looking at the sky. She looked over at the river "Good day for swimming too!!" She mewed jumping in the river. "Anyone over here?" she asked hearing the bushes move.

Vienna slipped quietly along the edge of the strange scent barrier. Other cats had been here. She cocked her head, tasting the air. A new creature was approaching. Considering a nearby bush, she decided her best bet would be to stay out in the open and greet these new strangers. She had traveled a long way alone, but it might be good to have some new company. Other animals meant more people to... relate with.

Standing her ground, the black she-cat met the oncoming creature with an unreadable gaze. "Greetings..."

"It depends. Who are you?" Vienna said, gazing curiously at the two battle-hardy cats that stood before her. Her amber eyes were cool and unreadable. "I won't attack you. But I'm not afraid to fight back if you do." She drew her tongue across one onyx paw. "You two have a strange scent," she said, twitching her ear. "Who are you?"

She had always relished her unnerving ability to take control of a situation. These cats will be no different than the rest, she comforted herself. Let's see what they're really made of.
