Hawkkit pawed at the cattails, then closed his jaws around one, jumping backwards. Ew! he yelped, That's not food!

Pinepaw was still drowsy but had woken up. She'd slept for a long time. Her fur hung off her bones and the little meat she had. She hadn't eaten in a while, but wasn't hungry. She lashed her tail, that looked like a worm. She was still tired. She wondered how the others were doing...

quailfeather sighed in shock he had arrived later then most but he was still in shock from the fire. he never thought this wwould happen but seemingly it did unfortunately. his blue eyes looked up at the sky his long fur just flowing when the wind blows or stops."how nice of the riverclan to help.."

Silversky, Tigerpaw, and Snowsky all eventually made it to the pond, the former two breathing heavily.

Frostpaw has forcefully distanced herself from Pineapple. The sight of her charred tail, even if it was fur, was saddening. The injury was all her fault, nobody could deny it. The small molly looked over each paw in turn, wincing as her front left one brought upon a bought of pain. The flesh on her pad was charred and flaring, the edges red and inflamed. Blood and some kind of... pus?... was oozing from the inside, and she felt sick to her stomach. Like a hole had been burned through her skin. Frostpaw probably hadn’t noticed it while parading around on Pineapple’s back and asking about her friends.

She couldn’t ask the medicine cats for help... they would be annoyed! Who else would get hurt in this stupid and idiotic way?

Gross, fishy odor mixed with soot and smoke, it was not a nice smell. A slender lilac gray she-cat set the weasel in her maw down between her paws while drawing her tongue over her muzzle a few times. Carrying something for that long in her mouth for that long sort of ache. The she-cat glanced around at the ThunderClan cats, trying to suss out who it was running the show. Twilightstar arched her tail up to keep her warriors and apprentices still while she chatted.
"Who's in charge here?" The WindClan leader asked calmly as her cool gaze continue to roam from pelt to pelt.
She had already gotten an okay from both Lionstar and Duskstar to bring over some prey. Her medicine cat was most likely already on his way to help others. Twilightstar didn't want to stay for too long, but they'd do whatever they could to while they were here. As she waited for an answer, she turns her head to peer at her clanmates as they clamber around behind her. The walk was a bit on the longer side, she hadn't heard any complaints but there was always time with her clan.

Creekpaw personally didn't know any ThunderClan cats from gatherings so that was a plus so he wouldn't get distracted or anything.
The walk over was a little difficult for Creekpaw as he had made the mistake of getting a rabbit that was on the large side. He had had to reajust his grip and give his maw a rest ever so often on the way over but, now that they were there, he happily dropped it onto his paws. Licking his maw a few times to relax it.
The smell sure wasn't nice and he assumed that at least a couple ThunderClanners had died in the fire, and it looked like RiverClan had helped out a good amount too. Always good to help out more though.

Podlight tried to gather all of the kits together, "Kits, why don't we all try to play a game to take our minds off of the fire" she suggested, trying to lighten up the mood. She really hoped some of these kits would be willing to join in, or she'd be really embarrassed. She waited for a bit, making sure that every kit who wanted to join in gathered around her.
