Whisper’s eyes narrowed, her tail lashing back and forth. She could get one, maybe two good hits in from here… if she was lucky, she would be able to hit and run, come back another day when this pesky warrior wasn’t around. After all, he couldn’t have gotten to this age without learning something. Whisper was smart too, though… and she had had to survive on her own.

Something most silly Clan cats knew nothing about. They were used to living in a group, leaning on other cats to help them, and in Whisper’s opinion, it had made them weaker. She would never have asked another loner for help… not unless it was a life-or-death situation. At Riskwatcher’s next words, the she cat began laughing. Once she started, she couldn’t stop… it was almost choking her, her lungs and throat burning from how hard she was laughing, her eyes stinging with tears of mirth. Did he really not know? Did this warrior not understand how the world worked outside of his little Clan? That there was more food here, more space, and on the very borders… she normally wasn’t bothered by anyone? ”You’re really serious, aren’t you?” She managed to choke out after she was through with her laughing fit, looking up at Riskwatcher with an almost-smile. The amused look faded from her features pretty soon, however, and she straightened up with a scowl, her eyes flashing with a defensive anger once more. ”Well, it was worth a try, old pal.” Whisper should’ve known that he wouldn’t buy that whole thing. This time, the last word was spit out with some venom in her voice, anger causing her eyes to flash a little.

He stared at her with unimpressed yellow eyes, blinking carelessly, his expression stoic. He was already agitated - he's always been agitated, and with her being here, she wasn't helping him any more! He stared at her, hoping that his very gaze would scare her off. Or, at least cause her to cower, knowing exactly well that a loner couldn't beat a warrior. He was trained to fight...even if he didn't have much of the energy nowadays, and his bones hurt from mere arthritis. He dared not back down though, keeping his paws planted in pace, gaze never wavering. ''Our conversations?'' He perked, truly having no recollection if he ever interacted with this delusional she cat. His mind wasn't photogenic, and as long as he aged, his memory would only worsen. He seemed to squint his eyes at her, straining to remember, but nothing came to mind. ''I assure that you must be mistaken. I'd appreciate if you saw your way out, old pal.'' He sneered, obviously not liking the fact that she addressed him like they were old friends. Riskwatcher was proud. He could had gone and got the leader to handle this...riffraff off the territory, but instead he wanted to prove that he was still useful. That his joints didn't hurt whenever he moved them, or that it was hard to remember what prey he ate just that morning.

He seemed to have become greatly taken back when she laughed, squinting his eyes in confusion, shuffling on his paws. ''What's so funny?'' He growled. ''Did I make a joke to you?'' Riskwatcher dared to step closer, claws sheathing and unsheathing, feeling threatened that she was laughing at him; he didn't like being laughed at. He didn't say anything funny, if he recalled. His tail twitched, propelling behind him, narrowed gaze, knowing he never had the patience for others - especially not this she cat. ''Do I appear like some trickster?'' He huffed softly, staring away for a moment as he felt flushed under his fur. He observed that she was a testy one...maybe a smart one, he wouldn't put it pass her that she'd trick him. A smug look appeared on his features when he heard her choke, maliciously hoping that she'd end up choking to death. ''I'm not your old pal,'' He growled, ferociously meeting her stare, anger in his own gaze. If she thought he was going to cower, that would never happen. If he were to die, it better be for a reason. ''And, I believe you overstayed your welcome. If you have nothing more to say, I point in that direction,'' He used his tail to point behind her. ''That you go back the same way you came, ma'am.'' His patience was wearing thin. It was obvious he wanted her out, but by the look in her eyes, he knew he was going on a wild goose chase with this brat.

Moonpaw followed suit, trying her hardest so keep her pout plastered on her maw when, in all actuality she was incredibly excited. Her tail flicked behind her and her whiskers quivered. An idea popped in her mind the second she saw the tree. "Wanna see who can climb the tree fastest?" she asked, mischief danced in her lapis hues.

As the tom shot off the other lashed her tail and shook her head "Hey that's cheating!" the apprentice hollered as she too launched herself up the tree. She weaved around the branches and pulled herself up with ease. Being nimble was something she happily boasted about, being one of the few most flexible in Thunderclan.

Once she heard the apprentices surpised yelp she swiveled on her heels and gripped Badgerpaws paws, claws digging into the top of them. 'If you couldn't climb the tree why did you try?" Moonpaw huffed, slowly bringing the other apprentice to a branch.
