Cattail Pond

Buzztuft followed Buckbranch a bit hesitantly... she'd wanted to help more, but still found the emotions from all of this a bit too overwhelming. She was in no good state to be of any user other than confirming she was going to be alright. After a bit of travelling, the calico found herself exhausted again by the time their group had reached the pond. Buzztuft didn't know what to say, or do even. She sat upright, still trying to hold back any tears that tried to escape. She'd cried enough for one day. Hopefully the rest of the clan would be able to catch up soon, today had already been terrible and tragic, much like the fire from a few moons ago. It all seemed too similar... too real... except this time, there were cats that she truly couldn't stand to lose. Emotions... why did she have to feel them so strongly?

Pinepaw finally arrived at the pond. She was extremely tired. She had passed out once but she still needed rest. She curled up in the grass.

Littlekit waiter for Podlight. He mewed her name waiting for her. Was she ok! Where is she! His heart pounding he stood up and started pacing. @Mumble

Fernkit padded behind her Clanmates with her tail dragging on the ground. She coughed once and started lapping up the pond water.

Sunnywillow followed along behind Buckbranch with the rest of her clan. She felt perfectly fine so might as well leave the fish cats to take care of the injured. The molly reached the pond and immediately found a tree to rest under, stretching out so no one could try to share the tree’s shelter. Her heart pounded somewhat with concern for Soaringpaw and relief for Fernglow but she hated it. She needed that to stop- she didn’t really care! She was just pretending!

Fawnfrost coughed, lapping at the cool water with a sigh. She would lay on her side to take a rest.

Leading her apprentice to the Cattail pond, Splashfury eyed the flowers. She didn’t think lily pads or lily flowers had healing properties but you never know. She also eyed the dandelions and other stuff growing there. “Hmm, wanna separate for a bit and meet back here in a few moments to share what we got then we go back and look and then come back to share what we got? Don’t forget to holler if you find something interesting.” Splashfury meowed as she wondered what she could carry back to the camp. Definitely no more than 4 things could fit in her mouth.

Coastpaw followed Splashfury into the area of the cattail pond, looking around at the various plants that grew in the area. He didn't even know where to begin. "Er, yeah, that might be for the best." The apprentice headed off in the opposite direction around the pond, looking for anything interesting. Spotting some white and yellow flowers growing near the water, he padded up and investigated.
Wrinkling his nose at the tangy smell of the plant, he decided to pick some of it, figuring it might be used for something - if not, that was unfortunate. It would turn out to be feverfew, though Coastpaw had no idea that it was.

podlight hurried over when she heard Littlekit mewl her name. What if something bad happened? "It's okay, littlekit. I'm here" she murmured, running her tail tip down his spine.
