Daisy's eyes glowed with admiration. She trotted after Midnight as her stomach growled. "Is there any food 'round here?" The molly asked laying on her side next to her friend.

" Gotta be prepared and I need to teach you to hunt and eat prey. "

Daisy looked at the prey suspiciously. "That's food?" She asked. The molly chuckled and mewed, "You must be joking."

Daisy sniffed the mouse, and her mouth watered. "It does smell good..." She mewed. The young molly took a little nibble, and fell in love. She tore the mouse apart, savoring each bite. "I would never think these were good," She mewed between bites, "My housefolk hate it when they get in the house." Daisy finished the mouse, licking her lips. "Thank you!" She purred.

* She just nodded and drifted off to sleep still curled against her friend. The rise and fall of her flank was smooth. A small purring could be heard as well. *

Daisy yawned and her eyelids became heavy. She stretched lightly, not wanting to disturb her friend, and curled up. She yawned again and closed her eyes, entering a dream filled sleep.

* She woke during the night and felt Daisy asleep next to her. She slowly got up as to not wake her. She walked outside and stared at the moon. She had to believe that he was okay. She had to. *
