Ebonypaw whipped around, opening his mouth to taste the air. He turned back to her, "It was nothing." The tom said, forcing his fur to lie flat and he gave her a soft smile.

She forced herself to calm down and to make her fur lie flat again. She ducked her head under his chin and pressed her cheek against his chest. She could hear his heart beating and interestingly, it felt soothing to hear it. She loved the sound of his heart, it was like thunder, where as her heart sounded very quick and small. She purred and sat there, her head against his chest, for awhile.

Ebonypaw smiled, resting his muzzle on her head. The sweet moment didn't last long as he shot back to his paws, hearing distant screeches. He turned to Moonwhisker and nuzzled her cheek, "Stay here alright?" The tom told her before he turned and charged away, heading for Riverclan.

She nodded and kneaded the ground while trying to wait patiently for him to return. Her ears flattened at the sound of the screeches and dug her claws into the dirt as they got louder.

She laid there waiting for him to return with her head laying on her delicate paws. She had fallen asleep while patiently awaiting his return and was dozing on the border between Windclan and Thunderclan.

(I'm planning on having Ebony only in the RC and WC battles with Skyclan so after Buck is killed he'll come back to her)

The long-legged tom picked his way down to the border, his ears perked for any movement. He didn't prefer getting caught so close to the border but if it was a she-cat he'd just flirt with them anyway. He hissed softly, forcing a stray bramble branch out of his way and tumbling forward awkwardly. Ebonypaw got up and shook his pelt, hoping no cat had seen his awkward fall. With a final short stretch of land he was right at the border. The tom tucked his haunches under himself and sat, wrapping his tail around his paws and looking into the trees, trying to spot any movement.

A greyish-brown tabby watched as Ebonypaw neared the border. "Graceful," she snorted, hopping down from her tree. "How are you, Ebony?" Elmfrost asked, blinking her green optics at him.
