Echo flashed her teeth at Jaran. No, it wasn't a smile, it was.. a smirk-growl. Showing what she was truly capable of. She'd done it to many people over the years, and she'd do it to many more. This situation was.. not ideal. Definitely not ideal. She hadn't planned this little meetup. In fact, her walk amongst the bustling streets had been on an impulse, something she'd barely decided on before leaving her apartment. "Yeah, hey," she spoke, her ears flattened to her head. "'Sup?" The question she truly wanted to ask.. Where's Damon? Where is he? Annnnnnd it looked like her self-control decided to fail. "So, where's that demon boy?" Echo tried to keep her tone nonchalant, but her tone burned with curiosity, and her eyes were eagerly awaiting their answers.

She held her hands behind her back, a playful expression returning to her face. The cat-woman then unsheathed her claws behind her back, a quiet movement, one she had perfected over the years. Echo flashed out her hand, holding it to Tally's neck. "Careeeeeful what you say," she warned in a sing-song voice. "That mouth miiiiight just get you into trou-ble."

Alex sigh, he really didn’t want to tell her, he could tell by now that he wasn’t the same and, he didn’t want her memory of him to be tarnished with what he’d become. ”That’s a no can do. My friend Damon seems to think you’re important so you’re staying here until we can clear that everything is safe.” He said sadly. If she went back she’d get kidnapped, and even if he couldn’t be in her life anymore, he loved her and wanted her to stay safe.

..Damon? Her heart crumpled at the mention of him. She teared up and quickly looked away from her unknown kidnapper. "D-Don't you speak of h-him.." Her voice cracked as she could barely hold her tears at bay. Damon.. she still.. loved him. Oh.. she was so stuck in the past that it hurt. Her body ached as a rush of unsteadiness hit her. Mental breakdown. She fell to her knees with a choked sob. She couldn't hold them back anymore. Angie hugged her knees as she pushed herself farther into the corner, making herself ever smaller than she felt. Oh.. his name. Would she.. ever see him again? Maybe he was lying.. But.. what if he wasn't? Oh gosh, she couldn't take all this..

Alex’s heart crumpled and he walked twords her, hoping to hold her til she could calm down. “Hey, hey it’s ok. He... he told me to tell you that he loves you, and...” This was so hard. “And that he made a promise to take care of you, so I’m here to help him is all.” He whispered the last bit, almost unable to speak about himself. Who he’d been. “Can you tell me about him? With me he was always just a guy but? What about you?” He asked. Maybe if he’d just been a guy he could tell her, maybe if he wasn’t amazing he could tell her. But, he couldn’t and shouldn’t if she was sure he was amazing.

Tally frowned, “not funny Jar.” She said with the smallest of pouts, business girls should never pout, it makes them seem weak in a world where they were already deemed incapable. Hopefully having Jaran around would help. He’d front handling people, especially the men. She hasn’t wanted to need muscle in the FASHION BUISNESS!!!! But she guessed she did.


Oh great, Echo. Even after all these years she still wanted to protect Angela, “Leave her be Echo.” You know, a security detail wouldn’t be so bad, and Echo was really tough.

Good question, Echo. He didn't have an answer to her question. Damon was nowhere to be found now. At least, he assumed so. Maybe Tally would know? He watched the cat-girl threaten Tally and he moved behind Echo. He was still.. kind of fast, surprisingly. Though, he was an adult now, not a young adult as he had been before. So moving as fast as he could definitely hurt. Gosh, why hadn't he been working out more? Another excellent question. He gripped Echo's arms, beginning to yank them back. "Watch yourself, cat-girl. My patience can only run so thin." he hissed in Echo's ear. Now he was kind of pissed off. Echo was still the same. No sense of personal boundaries and the patience of a pufferfish. The slightest word made her angry as could be. Such was the way of a cat-girl such as Echo. He let go of Echo and stepped away from her.

Tally smiled a bit, more of a smirk, she’d missed this. Just a bit. She placed a hand on Jarans arm, just to say she was here and that it was ok to calm down a bit. “Echo, how about I offer you a job. If Damon comes in you can talk to him then.” she said. Either way she was excited to have Jaran around again. She’d missed him. She moved a bit closer to him, not a lot, but enough.

She shied away from Alex, her face buried in her knees. "Hic.. He.. H-He did? H-Hic.." Angie sobbed and hiccuped as she thought about Damon. Everything.. all of it. Everything they'd done together.. She looked up at Alex, her eyes half shut and overflowing with tears. "H-He was.. everything t-to me.. Hic.. I loved him s-so so much.." Her face fell back into her knees as her sobs increased. All she could think about was him now.. And it hurt her so much.. Her head hurt, her throat hurt, and her body felt weak. Everything hurt..

He sigh, no... no to her he was amazing, what would she think of him now? She’d be crushed to know that it was the person beside her. This time he didn’t give the option, he hugged her tightly and cried a bit of his own tears, “He passed away not too long after you broke up... he said he was going to die of a broken heart, that’s not true though. He died from a fatal heart wound.” He said, that was true. All of it. Hed actually been shot, it missed his heart by millimeters.

She froze. Her heart stopped. He was.. he was dead. Damon was dead. She slowly pulled her head out from her knees, her eyes wide as saucers. She looked at Alex. "He's.." And then came the tsunami of tears. They swarmed out of her eyes and leaked down her face. She sobbed even harder, hiding her face in her knees again. Her heart felt like it was torn to complete shreds, put back together, and ripped apart again. She never wanted to move again. Angie just sat there. Sobbing what was left of her heart out. Everything just hurt even more now. Her entire body ached with sorrow. Her head hurt from all the crying. But she couldn't stop it. He was dead. That was the truth.
