I haven't read past Omen of the Stars, but the way the writers used Spottedleaf got really annoying. I liked her in the first arc where she was the medcat and had a bit of her own personality (and it was pretty clear than Firepaw's crush was onesided). Then once she dies she gives some prophecies which was fine, but then they sort of just turned her into a needless obstacle for Fireheart and Sandstorm's relationship, and for some reason gave her feelings for him as well? It just kinda felt unnecessary to me, I feel like often the non-pov she-cats in warriors get boxed into mother or girlfriend roles where the toms just get to be warriors :/
But yeah, tangent aside, Spottedleaf past the first arc got really annoying and repetitive.
