SILVERLIGHTNING

Silverlightning slowly made his way over to the shadowledge, settling down next to his cousin. Silently, he absorbed the news the Shadowclan leader had to share, though it really didn't matter much to him. The chances of him encounternig a cougar wasn't high so he was sure he'd be fine as long as he listened to the advice of his leader.

Sliding off to the sides, Vulturefang avoided most of the large crowd and sat at the edge of the cluster. Ragged ears twitching at the bitter air, the massive tom rested on his haunches and took heed of the leaders words. Lynxs, huh? Well that was definitely new... And definitely something they should take seriously. Snips was right, these goons posed a bigger threat than most everything in this forest.. And dare he say, they pose a bigger threat than any Thunderclan warrior ever could. Yeah... They had nothing against a pack of lynxs. Anyway, aside from that troubling news, there was something to go against it. There were new apprentices. More kids for their miniature child army. That was always fantastic news. Well, to an extent... Good as in 'yay, new warriors' but that also meant more little creatures that the warriors had to watch so they didn't get K.Oed on the first day of training. And not to mention their training lessons heightened the smell of their already ungodly smelling bodies, so 'yay'. Whatever, he supposed they only stayed this age for so long... Sooner than later they'd be out of that treacherous stage and onto to something better. Anyway what the hell was he rambling about? Eh, it didn't matter... Back to the meeting.

Mothcloud suddenly sat tall and licked Albatrosskit's pelt as clean as she could before he was called. "Come along my little Tross. It's time for your name, I'll walk you to the edge of the circle. Kits come watch your brother and be silent and respectful" She called to her litter of 6. "I'm so proud of you Tross. Your going to do great my little warrior" She purred to her kit softly

If he were a dog, he'd start spinning in circles with excitement the second he caught sight of Larkfire, creeping her way over. "Larkfire!" Sagechaser exclaimed enthusiastically, sparing a glance at the resident vixen, Dawnstar, when she announced the presence of the formidable lynxes. Eh, Sagechaser wasn't too worried. He could easily take one of those big cats in a fight and win. Not even a question of who'd win. "Have you seen any lynxes?" Sagechaser instead pestered. "Can you fight one? Did you teach Silverlark to fight them? How are you, by the way? I noticed you're in the nursery sometimes - what's up with that?" Maybe that was too many questions, but it was fair. If his sister was going to slink away into the shadows all the time, she ought to get a proper interrogation right now.

A quick survey of the crowd proved his apprentice had shown up to the meeting. The last of his worries assuaged, Sagechaser looked back at Larkfire, eyes bright as he opened his mouth to ask even more questions. Good thing he remembered he had to let her answer the first ones before doing so, or she'd be stuck there forever because Sagechaser certainly wasn't going to let her walk away until she spoke to him for at least a few minutes.
