Primrosepaw looked up into Floodsight´s blue eyes with emerald green ones that were narrowed with fury. She let out a soft ´hmph´ at the praise at the end. ´´Í did everything right,´´ She growled. ´´I have not been disrespectful. I have played with kits, I have interacted with my Clanmates, I have asked other cats other than Adderstrike to train me because I know how much Adderstrike is going through.´´
Her tail tip twitched to-and-fro angrily, and her tone began to harden. ´´I rescued Bluetide from drowning. The river had risen and the current had been faster. I brought prey back to camp that very same day. I drove out a loner from our territory without the risk of getting Dusklion involved because I know that Dusklion has a lot on her shoulders, Floodsight, and yet this is how she repays me. Confinement to the den as well as the new camp. It´s not fair! I didn't do her any harm. I didn´t go around the borders, because I know that the other three Clans are still a threat. I didn´t go around any specific landmarks due to the risk of foxes and badgers since we´ve been gone. I didn´t go around spreading information about RiverClan!´´ Primrosepaw hissed, flattening her ears.
´´I didn´t do anything wrong!´´
[ @ace. - angsty and angy bean - also, prepare for prim to have a breakdown : D ]
“whats that supposed to mean?” Aspenpaw asked as he approached his mentor and primrosepaw. He'd overheard the apprentice shouting at the deputy and ofcourse that had peeked his interest. So sure he'd eavesdropped but from his perspective of this whole thing, was primrose truly in the wrong.
“clearly dusklions has it twisted or doesn't get it. I don't see anything wrong with prim did? She says she caught some rogue on our territory and chased them off. Doesn't that deserve a reward not punishment?" he asked, putting in his own opinion. He'd do the exact same if he had seen the rogue, maybe even worst. Stars knows he wouldn't have just let the rogue runaway even with his lack of battle training. Now turning to his denmate, his eyes twinkling with curiosity and interest. “So tell me more, did you score a few scars on the rogue? Send him running and crying for his mom?”
Dewpaw made her way over to check on her sister, after hearing the commotion. "Are you hurt? You don't smell like you're bleeding.. You stink of a loner though." Her nose scrunched. She checked over Primrosepaw with her nose, gently bumping her sister. "Hey I know you're upset 'n all but goin' out of camp without someone isn't a good idea. Even if other cats were there with you after. That's how I got in trouble a few moons ago." She gently licked her sisters fur, trying to calm her down. She glanced at Aspenpaw, she shook her head. "I'm just glad that Prim didn't get hurt or anything.."

Primrosepaw´s emerald stare flicked over to Aspenpaw as her denmate arrived. Her fur lay flat at the sight of a Clanmate who was actually the situation from her point of view.
´´There were two of them,´´ She began with a flick of an ear. ´´A she-cat and a tom, either littermates or a couple. The tom didn´t appear until later, but I found the she-cat trespassing on our territory with a rabbit between her jaws.´´
She tipped her head to the side thoughtfully. ´´Of course, I confronted her, and she said that she got it from her prey storage at her home. But,´´ Primrosepaw paused for a moment. ´´there was no outskirts scent on the rabbit, which suggests that she caught it on RiverClan land. And if she caught it on RiverClan land, that might mean that she and that tom have a camp within our territory,´´ Primrosepaw explained thoroughly, her green eyes narrowing at the realization. ´´I´m going to let either Fadingstar or Duskleaf know. I´m not going to Dusklion. She´s lost my trust.´´
The apprentice purred as her sister slid to her side, and Primrosepaw stuck her muzzle in Dewpaw´s shoulder fur. ´´I´m fine. There wasn´t a fight.´´
´´But anyway,´´ Primrosepaw continued on with the story. ´´Nightshadepelt, Willowtail, and Softpaw showed up as reinforcements, in case things had gone from push to shove. I gave the she-cat a warning, she gave us the rabbit, and she and the tom left.´´

Primrosepaw raced into camp, emerald eyes gleaming and three fish between her jaws. ´´Addy!´´ She purred, her voice muffled. The apprentice hared over to her mentor, dropping the trout at Adderstrike´s paws.
She padded over to the prey pile and placed the salmon and koi on top of it before heading back to Adderstrike. Primrosepaw shook out her pelt, spraying droplets of water onto the grass beneath her.
Her fur was still damp due to rescuing Bluetide. Her eyes gleamed, however. She had made her first four catches!
´´WHAT?!´´ Primrosepaw exclaimed, her ears lying flat against her head. Her green eyes widened in outrage. ´´Nightshadepelt, Willowtail, and Softpaw were with me! Did you not hear that?´´ She hissed irritably.
´´Great StarClan! You do one thing and then get punished for doing it. I went hunting, and I drove out a loner. Not to mention that I reported back to you. I did everything right. I didn´t go around any borders or landmarks. Nightshadepelt, Willowtail, and Softpaw were with me,´´ Primrosepaw lashed her tail, and she gave her mentor - Adderstrike - a desperate glance. ´´I did not cause any harm, Dusklion.´´
Fury glistened in the apprentice´s eyes. Maybe Adderstrike had been right when she had implied at the last meeting not to trust Dusklion. Punishments - for no reason whatsoever. Primrosepaw regretted even asking the Deputy to take her out for battle training now.
With a furious glare at Dusklion - distrust mixed with rage, Primrosepaw whipped around and stormed off toward the makeshift apprentices´ den.
Primrosepaw´s tail drooped, her emerald eyes glistening with fury that she couldn´t get out. Settling onto her stomach, she stared at the ground.
She didn´t get it. She had saved Bluetide. She had just driven out a loner - a potential threat to the Clan. She had hunted for the Clan. She trained hard, and now she couldn´t over a measly hunt.
Sliding out her claws, Primrosepaw shredded the grass beneath her. ´´Maybe Adderstrike was right about not trusting thin ice..´´ She muttered, her tail tip twitching to-and-fro irritably. As far as Primrosepaw was concerned, Dusklion was that thin ice.
Primrosepaw´s ears perked up at Fadingstar´s announcement. Thank StarClan!
´´Fadingstar!´´ The apprentice raced over to her leader. ´´Thank StarClan! Your Deputy just confined me to both the den and the new camp when it´s found, but only because I went hunting and drove out a loner!´´ Primrosepaw stared intently at Fadingstar, waiting for his reply. ´´Ask Nightshadepelt and Willowtail! They were with me!´´
´´I-I just don´t get it!´´ Primrosepaw blurted. ´´I-I just drove a potential threat from our territory. I-I saved Bluetide whenever she fell into the river yesterday! But Dusklion wants to punish me for that?´´ She wailed.
´´I understand confinement to the den, but half a moon´s confinement to the camp whenever it´s found? Tha-That´s just cruel!´´ Her tail drooped. She got up and raced over to the makeshift apprentices´ den. Adderstrike was right. Dusklion was untrustworthy. After today, Primrosepaw had no reason whatsoever to trust the Deputy. Dusklion had lost that trust.
[ Primrose is open for any other interactions, though she´d prefer if it was Adderstrike or someone she trusts, like Brokenstream or Duskleaf. This is not open towards Dusklion in any specific way. ]
So today was a normal day, Adderstrike walked out of the twoleg den to then be given a gift by her apprentice. Adderstrike couldn't help herself from purring, did Primrosepaw know that trout was her favorite prey? Oh the sweet and gentle taste of the trout. "Thank you very much Primrosepaw, I haven't even caught a salmon yet!" She gave Primrosepaw a very appreciative/proud lick on the head. She would have to try salmon another time and catch one too. With that Adderstrike carried the prey over to the den. She liked hiding in a overgrown bush since it was her little secret spot! Ok well it wasn't secret but it felt like a little hiding spot. Also the bush was very neat, it had the marks of when twolegs eat at the bush then the growth it was allowed when the twolegs left it alone. It looked like a kit with a wild hairdo running away from its mom before their pelt could be fixed. Adderstrike then looked to her apprentice with a warm smile as she poked her head out to be spotted, inviting her over.
Then the day still stayed normal, drama was kinda Riverclan's thing and somehow Adderstrike was apart of it. What? Adderstrike was so confused to what was going on that she just sat in her little bush with her head spinning around to confused to move. So Primrosepaw went out and hunted then went to the border, or did she do that at a different time or... Did she go alone, or was it with the other cats? The other cat were giving her apprentice the cold shoulder and not saying yes or no one way or the other. Did Primrosepaw forget the camp rules, maybe Adderstrike should have told her apprentice again. And she was getting in trouble with Dusklion.
Shaking her head to snap back into things, Adderstrike padded over to Primrosepaw and nuzzled her a little to try and calm her apprentice a little. "Ok sorry Primrosepaw for not coming over sooner, but did you go alone or were there warriors with you?" Adderstrike said wearing a very confused look on her face.

Floodsight nodded along and brought herself to give the little one a few gentle licks on the head to calm her down. 'Boy, is this one frustrated~' She had placed her paws on the apprentice's and gestured for them to sit down. In hopes the little one would listen, she had continued in a soft voice, "Yes, but respect comes in different forms. One where you have to understand where the other cat is coming from. I know you are angry with your efforts left unseen. But Dusklion...she's just making sure there's no extra problems she'll have to fix."
And then suddenly, her apprentice had appear, and seemed to agree with the other one. 'Kits...' Another furball of energetic ignorance to the world. Of course, most cats, especially the littles ones would think this way. They think they can take on the world. If we let them be, they'll declare war on all the other clans without a question asked.
Of course, this explanation was going to be a little too broad for Primrosepaw and Aspenpaw to understand, so Floodsight had elaborated a little further. "Think of it like this. I know you are trying to help Dusklion. But have you two thought of what if...something went wrong? Today, you were lucky but tomorrow, who knows? And if you were unlucky, how much trouble do you think will be left on Dusklion's shoulder. Or even Berrypaw's?"
She shook her head in the thought and hoped these two would understand.
Turning his head toward the babbling apprentice, Fadingstar quickly let his gaze sweep over everyone else present. "I appreciate those of you trying to help, but I'll handle this from here. Adderstrike, take Dewpaw, Softpaw, and Aspenpaw out for some hunting. Willowtail, Floodsight, go out to the outskirts border and set additional scent markers."
With that addressed, his eyes turned back on Primrosepaw. "While chasing an outsider off and rescuing a Clanmate is heroic, it doesn't change the fact that you broke a rule. Cats aren't exempt from the rules just because they do good things.
"You left camp alone, and that's that. It hasn't been allowed for moons. What if your Clanmates hadn't come along and you'd been attacked? What if you'd been ambushed by a predator while by yourself? There's a reason that this rule exists, and I expect it to be followed. Dusklion was right to punish you, and I don't want to hear any more whining or complaining about it. Another word out of you about it, and you'll be demoted for the next moon. I've made it incredibly clear that I expect this Clan to respect the rules and to listen when they're told something by a high rank."
[ If Prim continues to argue or protest her punishment, she will face additional punishment. Please reach out with any questions or concerns, but Fading will not be open to reversing this punishment as the rule about apprentices leaving camp alone has been in place for a long time and Prim did break it ]

[ welp, it´s prim´s meltdown time : D - and she better not receive anymore punishment for this, because she isn´t protesting her punishment, and she isn´t arguing. ]
A frown crept up onto Primrosepaw´s maw, and her tail drooped. Adderstrike was right. She was completely right. A whimper rose in her throat and she stuck her muzzle in the comforting presence of her mentor.
´´You were right,´´ She sobbed. ´´You were right, you were right, you were right!´´ Primrosepaw closed her eyes tightly, tears streaming down her cheeks from her emerald gaze. ´´You were right, you were right, you were right, you were right, you were right!´´
The apprentice trembled, her claws digging into the ground beneath her.
She pressed herself close to Adderstrike. ´´No one will listen to me! No one will listen to me!´´
The RiverClanner began to mutter Adderstrike´s words into Adderstrike´s pelt. ´´Do not trust thin ice, do not trust thin ice, do not trust thin ice.´´

Floodsight had nodded and left them along. She had looked back to see the little one burst into tears and it absolutely broke her heart. It was not the sight she had wanted to see today, and definitely not what she was expecting from the confident outgoing apprentice. She hoped the little one would be alright, and learn from this mistake. Once they've found their new camp, she's sure the little one would have all the time in the world to roam.
After hearing her name being called once again made Floodsight clam up. 'Here we go again...' She had waited for Fadingstar to finish his lecture, but giving him a brief nod as a greeting. "Dusklion and Nightshadepelt had just left to the outskirts. Do you want us (her and Willow) to catch up to them?"

[ female | she/her | 20 moons old]
Bluetide shook her damp pelt and watched Primrosepaw called Adderstrike, the blue striped she-cat flicked her ear and looked around, a warrior damp and caught no fish, It sounded like she was a fish brain and didn't know how to hunt.
next thing she might know Berrypaw will comment about her clumsiness, so embarrassing for a warrior to get injured on a simple task of hunting with Primrosepaw. The warrior curled her damp cold tail around her cold body" Maybe you guys should call me clumsytide" she muttered under her breath as she tried not to lean on Dusklion to much, she didn't want to show weakness, she was a warrior and a warrior shouldn't show weakness.
@taillow // @paedyn // @squidz - berry mention, [ Can we do a Mention order to keep this organized of who is suppose to post next]

Dewpaw just watched as her sister had a meltdown. She didn't know how to comfort her. Didn't even know if Berrypaw would be able to help. But she stayed quiet. Speaking wouldn't help things. She knows that. So she backed away and waited. Hunting.. would be a nice distraction. Maybe she'd learn how to fish and get that out of the way. But she knew in her heart that probably won't happen. Adderstrike struck her as the type to stand up for whats right.

“One day I’ll be the greatest warrior of all the clans!”
@paedyn @occultation
"But..." Adderstrike looked to her apprentice worried for her and wanting to defend her, but she did go out on her own. With that she bowed her head and looked to Fadingstar. "Of course I understand.Dewpaw, Softpaw, and Aspenpaw, lets go out and—" Adderstrike eyes went wide when she saw that Primrosepaw was starting to have a melt down. Also shouting out Adderstrike's annoyance at the time with Fadingstar. Great, now she was going to probably lose her head over this. Stars above save her. The option now was to abandon Primrosepaw and go on the hunt. Try to be soft and calm down her apprentice, or be tough on her.
"PRIMEROSEPAW, GET A HANDLE OVER YOURSELF!" Adderstrike shout at her in utter frustration lashing her tail. She then took a deep breath to calm herself down. This was getting way too much. "You made your moss bed now lay in it. You shouldn't have gone out all on your own, you could have gotten killed if those loners decided that you were an easy mark. There are horrible cats out there that want nothing more to make cats suffer in agony before killing them. And I could never live with myself if that happend to you. I love you kid." She said before looking to Fadinstar to see if he wanted her to leave for the hunt and to let him deal with the rest of this... With a sorry look for sticking around.
