Looking around her as she lays in her nest, young Ravenscreech can't help but feel guilty - why, she has no idea. But as she lays there and frowns... She closes her eyes and shakes her head slowly. this is a mess... all because of my horrid choices. She thinks to herself as she shakes her head slowly.

The small speckled kit glances around the nursery sheepishly. Mama said she’d be back soon. I wonder what papa looks like? I heard I got my name from him but..I’ve never seen him. it took a few moments before he felt comfortable enough to peek over the nesting rim. There were plenty of other kitten but he paid no mind to them. In fact he didn’t like being around them and preferred the company of his brother. Shim? Shimmy? when he couldn’t see his brother cardinal’s eyes began to water and soon enough he was crying.

Midnightkit pads into the nursery and looks around. They went over to their small nest and kept to themselves. They would play with mossballs, twigs, and other things accessible to them.

Two amber eyes - one slightly darker than the other - looks around the nursery before the fluffy, dark kit lurks in the back. Watching everything, everyone that walks around. His too-large paws make him stumble when he stands, and the small little grey, black and white-speckled tom can't help but stretch and yawn. His clanmates are so boring and he's tired how they always look at him as if it's his fault if he gets into trouble. Like... Breh, come on! Can't they be any worse then this?

His fluffy little half-tail starts to thump the ground before he presses a paw onto it to make it stop moving. With a frown, he can't help but look at it - what is wrong with him? Why can't he just sit still for once? He can't help but feel as if he'll never be a good warrior or a good cat in general because of his little tics and the way he's always so twitchy and the fact that he can't talk right.

stupid, stupid, stupid Shimmerkit he knows they all say. He looks at the ground and digs his little claws into the soft dirt at his paws before he starts to tremble like a little leaf and his black fur is lifted by a little breeze. he can't help but jump and let out a soft cry before he covers his mouth with his large paws and glance around the nursery to see if anyone heard him.

It seems like they're all ignoring him, so... Maybe... Just maybe-

Briarkit

Briarkit pads through crowds of kits, they're all so annoying. Why does everyone have to live in such ignorance? Why aren't they all training to be warriors? They're gonna be so unprepared when they reach six moons, why not make it easier on their mentors?

She sighs, shaking her head at the other kits. Then she sees another kit, he seems... scared? Maybe sad? She really can't tell, she's bad with emotions.

Briarkit pads over to him, sitting next to the kit. She awkwardly pats his head with her tail, not knowing what to do.

"Uh, there, there..." She tries, man she's bad at this.

She offers the kits a smile, but she has no idea if it's reassuring or not. Maybe her sharp teeth are scary? Maybe he doesn't like smiling? Is she scary? Does he not like her? Is she bad at this? This is why she keeps to herself, so many what-ifs that she'll never know the answers to!

KIT, Scorchedkit

Blinking wide amber eyes, the young kit stumbled around, fluffed up in interest. Next to her, Crowkit stood guard, watching her for her mother's sake again. The little molly pouted at having to be watched, but had been groomed into submission moments before. Her eyes locked onto a particularly dry bit of moss, and leaped onto it clumsily, biting at it a little before tiring out, and blinking sleepily.

Despite Scorchedkit slowly catching up to his height, the older tom felt pretty proud of himself for doing such a good job watching some of the other kits. Even if his mum wasn't there, he still couldn't leave the nursery for long times yet, and needed something, anything to do. The small tortie was a bit of a terror, but she was still tiny, and Crowkit could wrangle her back to the nest if she made a run for it.
