Darkpelt looked at a pebble on the ground, not sure why, just looking. He looked around at the clearing, a warrior, not far form where he was standing was there, Spiritfire
Uhh...don't really want to talk to...her...just don't even look at her, why is she here? I don't know and don't really care- just don't even care about her, just continue looking at this small pebble you found, and nothing will go wrong, he thought, now wanting to talk much to Spiritfire
oh well, i guess this pebble isn't much...fine i'll just say hi or something and walk over to the warrior's den
Darkpelt walked over to the she-cat, still keeping some distance "uh...hi there..?" he said

Looking up from her meticulous grooming, Spiritfire blinked her orange eyes in greeting to the warrior that had approached. Lifting her head to look him in the eyes, she gave a slightly forced smile.
"Darkpelt, right? Can I help you with something?"
She wrapped her plumy tail around her paws, tipping her head questioningly. It was rare for any cat to approach her out of the blue. Usually it was when they needed something. Honestly, that was just the way she liked it. Small talk was a waste of time.

"Spiritfire, uh, well, how are you..? And uh..just a quick quick question, i promise this won't waste time, what are your thoughts on Shadowclan..?" He asked, it was the first question he thought of, he wanted this to be a short and quick little question, it was just asking about an opinion on their clan afterall

The question caught her by surprise, although she did not show it. Instead, she simply narrowed her eyes. What a suspicious question.
"Shadowclan is loyal, strong, and fierce. We are the greatest of the clans," she answered, taking a pause before continuing.
"Why do you ask?"

Graypelt let out a light laugh at Dappledleaf's words. "I bet. You'll get more rest and whoever ends up being their mentors will have to be the ones dealing with whatever mischief these two decide to get up to." she said, her light and playful tone shifting into a more genuine one, "I'm sure they'll be great apprentices." She considered what it would be like to be a mentor for one of the two. She'd get to spend more time with them, get to know them. She'd be able to help one Dappledleaf's kits turn into an amazing warrior. It wasn't her choice though, it was Dawnstar's.

She batted her tail faster, lightly brushing over both of the kits' noses. "I'm sure you have. I also know that our definitions of good might not be the same," the warrior turned to the kits, teasing lightly. There was no way the kits had been as good as they were saying. There must've been times when their innocent little minds didn't notice that whatever they had done was wrong or not "good". Though Grayscar didn't believe that there ever would be perfect kits, that was just impossible. Being a kit meant being a nuisance in the best way possible. The gray she-cat decided to try and test an idea she'd had, "Sagekit, Willowkit, do you want to play a game?" Kits always liked to pretend to be warriors or apprentices, didn't they?

"well, we are...and...i don't even know at this point, sorry for bothering, i'll just...go to the warrior's den or something...yea..." Darkpelt said, slowly walking away, still looking at Spiritfire

Dappledleaf purred. "Thats very true, though I don't think I'll leave the nursery for another few moons. Meadowhaze, Slytiger, Fallenpaw and myself found a kit in the territory. Her name is Lark and she's staying with me for now while Dawnstar decides what to do." She yawned after her words, jaws stretching widely. The two kits ears pricked at the word game.

"What game!!" Sagekit was bouncing around. He loved games. "Yeah! Are we gonna fight a badger?" Willowkit was just as excited.

Slytiger lay lazily in the clearing, his tongue lapping soothingly along his pelt. It wouldn't do for his pelt to be anything less than perfect, his gorgeous stripes needed to stand out. Ok, maybe he was a little vain, but so what?
