ShadowClan Clearing

Rajah- no- Slytiger glanced around the ShadowClan camp with narrowed eyes. It was apparent he was new to the Clan as no one seemed to have such a brilliantly striped pelt as the Toyger did. Dawnstar had led him back and then promptly left to do whatever leader things she did, and now he didn't know much of what he was supposed to be doing. Meh, maybe someone could give him some answers while he sat there.

Meadowhaze bounded out of the warrior's den with haste, suddenly skidding to a stop and grinning madly at the wary-faced apprentice standing a few paces from her. "Fallenpaw!" The skittish molly exclaimed, beaming proudly down at her progressive apprentice. "What d'you think 'bout some hunting today?" Meadowhaze asked, arching an eyebrow as she peered down at the usually stoic cat.

"Sure." Fallenpaw murmured, bright green gaze darting feverishly around the camp clearing. After a moment, she nervously spoke up. "Wouldn't we have to... Take more cats with us on a hunting patrol?"

"No worries, we'll find someone to drag into this." The tortoiseshell feline meowed cheerily, craning her neck to look around camp. Her dull blue gaze landed on Slytiger. "Hello!" Meadowhaze practically yelled, waving her tail with unneeded enthusiasm. Well, the enthusiasm was probably necessary, since Fallenpaw was her first apprentice, and Meadowhaze was trying to expel enough excitement for the both of them.

Slytiger blinked as some weirdo yelled hello at him in an overly enthusiastic voice. He expected ShadowClan cats to be more... intimidating? More like Dawnstar? He wasn't sure, but the Toyger certainly hadn't expected this. "Hello. I'm Slytiger. Nice to meet you. Who are you?" The tom decided to be nice for now. It wouldn't do any good to piss off the Clan he was trying to integrate himself with, or worse, Dawnstar herself.

Willowkit

The small she-kit could see a new cat in the clearing, a striped one. She trotted over, her tail swinging as she walked. "Are you new to ShadowClan?" Her small meow was delicate, and her eyes wide as she looked at the tom. She heard a yell from another warrior, Meadowhaze, who was very energetic, much like Sagekit.

"Up for some hunting?" Meadowhaze asked the tom-cat without missing a beat, and then realized she should introduce herself. "I'm Meadowhaze, and this is Fallenpaw, my darling apprentice. Fallenpaw say hello." Meadowhaze nudged her apprentice, but all she received was an annoyed grunt. Undeterred, the feline turned back to Slytiger, gaze landing on a kit nearby. "Oh, hello! And who may you be?"

Red’paw he-him

Red’paw padded into the clearing with a rabbit in his jaws. It wasn’t often rabbits strayed into Shadowclan territory so whoever decided to take it would be in for a treat. Red’paw seemed to have more energy that usual today, even after a hunt he still felt the need to do something. He wasn’t due for any chores that he knew of but he could be wrong. Had he been called for a patrol? Eh, he’d be told later if he was. What was something else he could do?

The small kit looked at Meadowhaze and Fallenpaw. "Can I come hunting with you too? I'm almost 6 moons old!" Her tail waved excitedly, she wanted to go hunting and prove to her brother she wasn't a scaredy-cat like he said she was. If she was with two warriors and a warrior apprentice, maybe Dawnstar wouldn't get too mad.

Fallenpaw merely frowned downward at the kit, and then risked a glance up at her mentor, who seemed to be on the verge of actually asking someone if she was allowed to take a kit on patrol. "Ahem," The apprentice warily cleared her throat, snapping Meadowhaze out of her reverie.



Meadowhaze sighed, offering Willowkit a small, apologetic smile. "Maybe next time, darling. I'd be in a heap-load of trouble if I took you gallivanting off into ShadowClan territory. I'm sorry."

[Weekend-Wondering]

Hopekit crawled into the clearing, and ended up bumping into Redpaw.
She stumbled, and a but of her fur ruffled up. Without apologizing, she began licking it down, rushed. “Ow…” She muttered. She cast a frustrated look at Redpaw, and sat down acting superior.

Slytiger glanced down as a kit came bouncing up before Meadowhaze could respond. "Yes, I'm new. Dawnstar recently let me join," he said, before turning his attention back to the molly and her "apprentice." What the heck was an apprentice? Well, he knew how to hunt, so he supposed he could join them and use the chance to get to know them better. And the little hairball wanted to come, which he didn't see a problem with. The younger you learn, the better you'll be.

"Sure, I guess. I don't know the territory or anything, so you'll have to show me the best spots. You know how to hunt, kit?" He assumed the one called Fallenpaw knew already since Meadowhaze had brought them along.
