Peachpaw listened to Lionsnow talk, his ears folding back more. He plopped onto the ground, feeling doubt. DoD he sound like he was fishing for compliments? Or was his mentor really just that nice?
He didn't quite know.

He didn't talk for what seemed like hours, but was only about 6 or 7 minutes. The fawn apprentice only uttered one word, his voice low and quiet. "Sorry."

"I don't mean to sound like I'm whining, or being a kit. If that's what you think..." He told, looking up at Lionsnow only to look back down quickly.

"Of course I don't think that." He said, voice calm. "If I felt that way, I would tell you. I have no reason to dissuade or lie to you. If I thought you were coward who didn't deserve to be warrior, I would tell you that honestly."

He felt his eyes get all glossy, blinking away any signs of it. Why was he so emotional right now? 'I feel like a molly' He thought, seeing as some mollies were emotional, and could change in the blink of an eye.

Shaking his fur, he could tell that he was about to just start balling his eyes out for no apparent reason.- or, a good reason at that, just feeling a bit sad and emotional. Was this normal?

"A-..Are we done...? If..if we are..could we go back to camp?"He inquired.
"I think..I just need some alone time.." Peachpaw said, meaning when be got back, he would curl up in his nest and console himself.

A small smile appeared as he saw flowers blooming already. Walking forward, he looked back at his apprentice.

"If you want, we can stop for a moment and you can look around." Oak offered, tilting his head.

CactusPaw ran to the river in the territory. He skidded to a halt and flipped around to see MaplePaw. “Here it is! It’s so nice here.” He purred and slowly walked over to the river and looked at his reflection in it.

"Yup," she said, slightly popping the p. She started looking around and spotted a large patch of ice that she soon started sliding and skidding on. She laughed and motioned for Cactuspaw to come. "Come on! It's fun!" She said and almost immediately fell into a bush. "Whoops," she brushed off the brittle twigs and dead leaves that now littered her fur. Soon she was back to sliding on the ice again. "Whee!" She smiled and glided on the ice.

CactusHeart shivered and took one paw on the ice and dug his paws in the ice. “Ummm. Is scary.” He took another step and quickly stuck again to the ice. He always avoided ice at all costs, scared of it breaking and him drowning. He smiled at MaplePaw and turned back to focuse on his walking on ice.

Maplepaw saw his hesitance and smiled. SHe grabbed a stick in her jaws and started whapping it on the ice. The blows were heavy, but the ice was barely impacted. "See? It's completely solid," she said and launched herself over to Cactuspaw, "Here, let me help." She kicked some of the very downy snow they had gotten the night before onto the ice, giving it some traction while still keeping it relatively slippery.

Clouddash winced at her yell and briefly flattened his ears before recovering, "Well I suppose it's because he's young?" HE mewed uncertainly since he had no experience having an apprentice, "I'm sure he'll be better soon." He assured her.

"All I can do is hope, believe me, he's a 'bit' crazy" she whispered. She wanted to be careful incase her apprentice was on a patrol nearby.

CactusPaw nodded and began walking into the ice. He slipped once or twice but got the hang of it quickly. He purred as he was able to run and slide now. He quickly got his balance against MaplePaw and nuzzled her.
