The warmth of the water felt nice. It had been a while since she felt warm. With it being leafbare everywhere she went was cold. There were a few days of nice weather, which she did enjoy. Continuing to relax the scarred molly looked around the haven springs, eyes landing on a cat heading over to her. She could use the company. She really didn't care all for being by herself. It did bore her a bit. "Not at all.", she meowed, "Doing much better than any other day. Just decided to relax and get warmed up for a bit."

Goldenleaf sat down in the water, soaking up the warmth. He sighed in satisfaction. “That’s good for you,” Goldenleaf purred,”I’m sure you need it.”

Did she really deserve to relax? She didn't feel as if she has done enough for Riverclan. Maybe she should start, but not right now. She'd focus more on that when she was done in the nursery. "I guess I might of.", she meowed, doubt in her mind still.

“Of course you do,” Goldenleaf said to Marigoldleap,”You’ve helped RiverClan out by going on patrols and with RiverClan’s healing when Fawnlight went missing!” He didn’t want anyone to feel like a burden, especially if they were the complete opposite of a burden.

Well they did have a point. She did do that, but afterwards she wasn't sure what she had done. Well maybe her kittens would be a start then she'd really be active around the clan. "You're right. I guess I'm not used to being appreciated for helping. Not when I've never been appreciated back in Shadowclan. Riverclan's good that way. It's no wonder why my mother Flamebriar came here all those moons ago.", Marigoldleap dipped her head. She didn't talk much about her mother, but now that they were in the same clan once again it felt good to talk about her. She had always been a mama's girl.

“That’s unfair! You did so much for ShadowClan, yet you weren’t appreciated!” Goldenleaf was astonished. “How could someone do so much, yet receive so little? But I guess Dawnstar preferred the bigger fish…”

She guessed she shouldn't have said anything. As much as she disliked her cousin she was still her family. Dawnstar could hate her or try to kill her, but she was family rather she liked it or not. "Dawnstar's always been a proud cat. Most of my family were. I've been before I decided to change.", Marigoldleap answered. She met her eyes the reflection of the water.

“You’ve come a long way from when you were in ShadowClan,” Goldenleaf meowed.

Slatestripe sighed contentedly as the warmth radiating from the springs hit his fur. Despite the season, prey should be plentiful here. RiverClan was lucky to have a place like this in their territory. He hoped no Clan ever tried to take it. He didn’t want another Firefly Cove situation, ever again.

“Let’s split up,” he suggested. “I’ll head to the right. We can meet back here once we’ve caught our prey.”

Not far behind the tom, she stopped as he gave her, less of orders and more of a suggestion. "Alright, I'll go left then." It was a simple plan of operation, split up, catch prey, but right back, can't be that hard to do.
