"Yes, please!" Dovekit mewed happily but quiet so she didn't disturb anyone. "Please teach me." She looked at Mintkit with shining blue eyes. She cuffed Mintkit on the ear playfully and softly.

"ok! so first we'll practice without the moss, so you through the ball into the air then twist, and stand and your back paws. like this" Mintkit demonstated "then standing on one foot hit the moss ball!" She explaned to dovekit

Dovekit tried to process everything that Mintkit said. "Um...ok." she meowed ready to do it. She twisted around in the air then stood on her back paws. She tried to stand on one foot but lost balance and fell on her right side. "I'm fine," she mewed and jumped up before Mintkit could ask if she was ok. "No harm done." She tried to do it again but fell on her side again. "How do you do it? Maybe I'll be better with the moss ball." She sighed and got up again looking at Mintkit.

Dovekit looked at her adoptive mom. "Yes, Lilacshiver," she mewed softly. Dovekit couldn't wait till her mom had her kits. She told herself she would protect them all the time and that meant, all the time. She loved younger kits that didn't have their eyes open yet because they were so cute. Dovekit looked back at Mintkit waiting for her to say something.

"there is one other way, instead of only one foot try only standing on your front feet" mintkit replied "It's hard to do I would be as surrprized as a caught mouse if you had done it on your first try!" she said

You've got this, she thought. Dovekit twisted around in the air then instead of standing on one paw she stood on both front paws. She stood in that position for several heartbeats then went back on all four paws and looked at Mintkit. "Did I do it correctly?" she asked excitedly.
