RueRipple let out a purr of satisfaction. She felt unable to rest yet, her motherly duties weren't done yet. But LightnigStorm was right, it wouldn't be long before they were running around and keeping her up for long moons. She finished cleaning MeadowKit with an affectionate lick. She then tilts her head upward to look at her beloved mate, RyeFur. ' ' I'm going to take a moment to rest love, You're welcome to stay in here and watch our kits, not sure they'll do much though. ' ' she said tiredly as the brown-striped warrior lifted her head downwards and placed it on her paws, after nuzzling her kits closer making sure they were all in line. She had successfully given birth to four healthy kits, one being a fluffy tortoiseshell tom kit, another tom kit with darker brown spotted tabby markings, As well as a large calico tom kit with sage eyes, and finally the runt of the litter, SilverKit, she had been the only she kit within RueRipple's litter. She could now rest safely and peacefully.

Meadowkit snuggled up to his mother with a purr of satifaction before dozing off. (I will be making longer posts in the future I just need time to put up trakers for all my characters. )

Bearkit snuggled closer to his mother and siblings, the tom kit taking in the scents of his siblings and mother with a tiny high-pitched mew.

RueRipple would wake up later that day still decently tired but would ignore it and groom. She had heard within the first few days after they were born keeping a close eye on them to bond with them and feed them. She would wake them and leaned forward, something she had seen the other queens do while feeding. She carefully moved FawnKit over to make room for SilverKit. SilverKit had seemed way smaller compared to her brothers, but that was expected, right? She thought to herself unsure of what might happen but, Finally relaxed when all four kits were sucking milk peacefully. Being a mother hadn't proved to be too difficult yet, RueRipple thought she was navigating it well for it being her first time. She smiled as she looked at the feathers QuillPaw left, WindClan had proved to be peaceful so far. Well until she overheard the cats having a meeting, loud words were roared and she deemed it unsafe for her kits as the sounds only got louder. She quicked them up one by one and moved them back to the back of the nursery.





RueRipple looked down at her gathered kits and let out a purr of satisfaction. She still wondered what the meeting was about, Perhaps she'd ask her mate RyeFur. All she had made out was Twilight Star's words "WindClan and ShadowClan ally themselves together." She had always trusted her leader but allying with another clan seemed wrong, Wasn't DawnStar power-hungry? None of this was smart in the queen's opinion especially not as they were entering leaf-bear! She brushed it off and settled around her newborn kits letting them once again drink her milk, they would need it if they would one day be warriors.

Silverkit mewed and squirmed a little at being moved. It felt cold without her brothers around her. Of course the kit also couldn’t open her eyes yet so she couldn’t see what was happening. She merely heard the loud noises outside and felt herself being moved. Silverkit however relaxed again once she was back on the ground surrounded by her family

Wispkit jumps off and pretends that she got a wound, then collapses in laughter. "You got me, Deadkit!" she says between laughs.
