RueRipple hardly noticed LightningStorm speaking. She made her way to the nursery she felt the pain of her contractions more and more. But with each one, the pain increased and she panicked more. She closed her eyes as she laid herself down on the nearest moss bed. She tried to calm herself down, taking deep breaths as she did so. The pain grew, but she tried her best to ignore it, focusing on her breathing instead. Just when it seemed like she would explode from pressure, she felt a sharp pain behind her as she noticed a weight leaving her. She pushed with everything she had inside her, gasping when the pain lifted slightly. She flipped backward, attempting to take a look at her kit, but yelping with pain as she felt the second one come. It hurt more than the first and left her even more exhausted. She then chomped down on the stick LightningStorm had brought. Then came the third, and the fourth. All the while she felt like she was going to burst with joy. The pain had turned to happiness in a matter of seconds, as she looked upon her kits and then her mate RyeFur ( @Pumpkin Latte ) . ' ' FawnKit ( @lesbianism ), BearKit, ( @Naila ) MeadowKit ( @Sunii ) SilverKit ( @Any1999 ) ' ' she said as she looked at her curled-up kits as they let out desperate 'mews'. She then began to clean them as she kept her eyes on LightnigStorm ( @Alchemist Kitsune ) waiting for any tips or comments.

Fawnkit wriggled against his mother, letting out a mewl of protest. It was cold! He soon quieted at the comfort of his mother's licks, squirming to get closer to her and the warm she provided.

Wispkit looked at Deadkit. "Let's play another game!" she suggested, tail swishing. "I'll be Windclan and you can be a Shadowclan warrior!" Mischief sparkled in her eyes.
"Be gone, Shadowclan!" Wispkit shouted as she jumped at Deadkit.

Silverkit snuggled by her mother and her brother fawnkit ( @lesbianism). She leaned into the licks of her mother with soft mews. The scents and comfort of her siblings around her made her rather calm and relaxed and soon the kit was giving a soft purr

Flock Together [Tier 3] - Inactive
A sigh of relief escaped Lightningstorm as the little ones were delivered, keeping a mindful distance as she allowed a critical, medically inclined eye to linger over the wriggling bundles. All seemed healthy at first glance, a fact that she knew could very well change in time, but out of her control. Removing the stick from the area as to not have the new litter accidentally poke or prod at the intruding object, she gave the queen a congratulatory purr, offering a relaxed smile now that she knew her patients were well. A family life had never been something she had been interested in. Her own had been filled with nothing but abandonment and heartache since she had been allowed to step outside the nursery's boundaries. It didn't stop her, however, from hoping for nothing but happiness and good will for the new kin, no matter how naive or overly optimistic it seemed.
"There you go. Feeling fine and a good mother already. Rest now, love. It won't be long before those little ones are climbin' the walls of the nursery and leaving you none time for that," she giggled, remembering her own mother's need for patience as far as she and her own littermates had required for the short time they'd had together.
There was a mild concern, of course. These kits had been born awfully close to leafbare, but then again, so had she. And so far, Ryefur was at the very least still here present in the kit's lives. Between the two parents, she was certain the kits would at the very least have a proper start in life. If one ignored the onset of plague they seemed to have, of course. Before the disappointments and realities set in, and the dreams of kithood got tarnished and swept away with the breeze. The molly kept these thoughts to herself, offering instead her usual, confident smirk as she grabbed her herbs, grateful that none of them had been required. The less herbs needed for the mother, the less exposure the kits had to potentially harmful medicine until they had built up the constitution - or size - for them.
"Now, I know when I'm not needed. Have any problems, I'm just a yowl away," Lightningstorm added, her tone more amicable now that they were past any dangers before she turned around, taking her herbs with her,
RueRipple let out a purr of satisfaction. She felt unable to rest yet, her motherly duties weren't done yet. But LightnigStorm was right, it wouldn't be long before they were running around and keeping her up for long moons. She finished cleaning MeadowKit with an affectionate lick. She then tilts her head upward to look at her beloved mate, RyeFur. ' ' I'm going to take a moment to rest love, You're welcome to stay in here and watch our kits, not sure they'll do much though. ' ' she said tiredly as the brown-striped warrior lifted her head downwards and placed it on her paws, after nuzzling her kits closer making sure they were all in line. She had successfully given birth to four healthy kits, one being a fluffy tortoiseshell tom kit, another tom kit with darker brown spotted tabby markings, As well as a large calico tom kit with sage eyes, and finally the runt of the litter, SilverKit, she had been the only she kit within RueRipple's litter. She could now rest safely and peacefully.
Not many kits had come to get a feather - actually, in fact, none had. That was alright though. Pale eyes shifted to locate a she-cat who was making her way over. "Hello there," Quillpaw chirped with a wide grin. "Here, take any you'd like. They're awfully soft an' make good decorations!" There was an array of colors to choose from, all ranging from browns and whites and blues. Surely there would be one that would catch the queens interest!
Out of the corner of her eye the apprentice watched a heavily pregnant she-cat she didn't know the name of this cat, and seconds later heard yelps and cries. Concern immediately bubbled within her and she poked her head into the den in time to see the last kit being delivered. Oh, how sweet! Backing out she glanced at the she-cat who had come to get a feather. "Take your time and pick any you'd like. I'll just grab these," she purred as she bent down to take three of the feathers in her jaw - one spotted brown, one blue, and one white - before turning and ducking into the nursery.
Gingerly, she approached the new mother and her mate, eyes sparkling at the sight of the kits. Quill set the feathers down with a grin to each of them. "I took notice of the kits from outside, an' just wanted to congratulate y'all." Her voice was just a whisper so as to not startle the new kits. Glittering joy sparkled in her eyes as she nudged the feathers closer. "Feathers, for right good luck. Maybe your kits'll want to play with them when they're older." They were soft to the touch and slightly big, but not massive.
Looking between the new queen and her mate, and then back at the kits, Quillpaw smiled again and dipped her head. "I'll let y'all get some rest." With that the young apprentice smiled once more before ducking out of the nursery. Those feathers delivered now and the other cat grabbing another, Quill offered Faithwillow a smile before trotting away with a flick of her tail.
