Friends...I'm too awkward to have those! Maplekit shifted her paw around in the dirt. "Do you by chance... have a mate?" Hopefully she hadn't asked a stupid question, because what if the 2 broke up? Tigermist would get angry at her!
Hibernating geese honked over Maplekit's head, and moments later, she was on her feet, looking up at the sky.Geese! Interesting creatures who only ever fly during leaf fall and leaf bare.
Annoying birds, too!
