Feathernose hopped over to the deaf apprentice, sympathy locked away in a box somewhere in her heart. She knew that Sheeppaw wouldn't like pity. The warrior waved in the 'paws face to get her attention, then mimed hunting, going into a crouch, stalking invisible prey then pouncing. Coming back to her original position, Feather tilted her head towards Springpaw, circling with her tail to indicate that they were all in a group to hunt. She nudged the apprentice, then slowly started walking back to the med cat 'paw, turning her head to make sure the warrior apprentice was following.
While he waits for the event to start, Chestnutfall perks his ears as the sound of a Clanmate's voice travels to him. A turn of his head reveals it to be Sootsong, hazel eyes blinking at him accompanying a grin. The large brown tom nods with a warm smile. "Oh, hello. Sootsong, right?" He recalls the younger tom, since they have grown up in the Clan together, but doesn't recall ever actually interacting with him. It is a fact that sort of stings, reminding him of how surreal the last nine moons had been following his mother's abrupt death. "I'm Chestnutfall." It feels... odd to introduce himself to a Clanmate he's grown up with, but the fluffy brown tom just grins.
Before long Larchflame speaks again, this time dividing the group into their teams. The red team, the green team, and the yellow team. His name is called for the yellow team, while Sootsong was for the yellow team. "Well, I suppose we'll be opposing each other," the tom jokes lightheartedly as he stands to his paws, casting a warm glance at his Clanmate. Before he parts ways though he spots a rather confused apprentice. That was Sheeppaw, right? Yellow team? Tail tip touching Sootsong lightly on the shoulder, Chestnutfall nods in her direction. "Looks like one of your team-mates could use some help." His heart swells for the kid, hoping that her team is able to help her.
With that the warrior slides over to where he sees those in his group gathering, taking note that Cherrypaw, Asterpaw, Brokenheart, and Wetwhisker are all here. "We've got a good group here; perhaps even a shot at winning!" Chestnutfall declares happily as his tail thumps the ground in joy. Their bi-colored eyes sparkle and they glance around for Dawnshred and Flickerpaw.
(Sorry short post ;-
The senior queen dipped her head with a playful purr at the tom, he seemed quite energetic and ready for this! "We do indeed have a good team, all groups do." Wetwhisker smiled with a teasing wink at Owlclaw who was on another team. "It seems like that team has a disadvantage. Tsk tsk, recurring old cats." Wetwhisker purred as Owlclaw stalked over to cuff her ear and meow back. "Get ready to lose" with a amused hiss he went back to his team.
Wetwhisker fondly looked after the old tom and then turned to her group, "alright! Do we have everyone? We might want to discuss what one another is maybe good at and ways to help us with this." Wetwhisker said, it sounded like she had done this before but in truth, she'd never even heard about this game until now. How strange..

He smiled warmly at the others greeting. Chestnutfall eh? What a lovely name! but as they parted ways he nodded. Padding over to sheeppaw he gently rested his tail on their shoulder. He was unaware the she cat was deaf but still tried to comfort her.

Feathernose padded over to the nearest cat from her team, who happened to be the med cat apprentice. Well, she seemed quite recovered, that was good. "Hey alls! Come 'ere!" the warrior called, waving her tail in friendly greeting to Springpaw and the others.

SourPaw smiled and looked around, yellow eyes gleaming with anticipation. The cream she-cat noticed that cats were gathering with FeatherNose, that was their name right? ”I’m coming!!” She yelled and bounded over to the group. ”We should each introduce ourselves, right?” The small she-cat asked quizzically. She was very happy to be on the yellow team! Yellow was her favorite color and she couldn’t wait to brag to LichenPaw about her team winning!Well, she didn’t one hundred and one percent know they were going to win but being put on the yellow team felt like a good omen to the young ‘paw.
Sheeppaw saw the warrior wave in her face and paid attention to her gestures. Were they.... hunting? But she didn't have any hunting training or even a territory tour cause her mentor disappeared... She followed the warrior to the gathered cats. Sheeppaw was unaware of the other apprentice's words, remaining silent. @GhostlyStarfinder @lem~ @Ladieboo @Spooky_Sus_Bean @Choi-San~Spookyteez @eris @Zelly

If you have a character that knows one of my characters somehow you're welcome to make a starter and mention me whenever you want to roleplay them together. Birdpaw has flock together tier three and bilingual tier three. Toadpaw has silver tongue. Mantiskit has agatha kitty and mind reader. I often end up editing my applications, especially if I'm not using a form so don't consider my first draft to be final as it likely isn't, especially if it's a kit finder. If one of my characters says, thinks, or does something you don't like please don't get angry at me since I'm just trying to roleplay their personalities.

Owlclaw nodded to the apprentice, "Sure. Names Owlclaw."

Okay… this was awkward. She’s in a hunting competition, and now she has to plan out a strategy with her fellow teammates for how to get the most prey? It sounded easy, but also baffling to hear. It was confusing for how it was so baffling to hear a warrior state a hunting competition, but she had nothing really much to say for the most part. She was a part of a team, and now they had to strategize a good formulate plan with sabotaging the other teams so that they could win the most prey! It sounded simple and easy, right? Well… Springpaw wasn’t exactly the most experienced of hunters. Sure, she knew how to catch prey, but she wasn’t all that experienced with such knowledge. Her team was mainly filled with apprentices and a couple of warriors that probably knew how to hunt more fluently than her, and maybe that could help them pull through? Whichever, they needed something to help them with this competition, because it wasn’t like her competitors were going to let them win so easily. She could already hear the hushed mumbling of the other teams formulating plans, and now she just felt completely dumbfounded. What was her team going to do with making out a plan in this game? Whatever it was, it should hopefully be a good plan, because they were definitely going to be in a bit of trouble if it doesn’t turn out the way that they want it to turn out.
