Harefire began climbing, he went up quite high. The soft oak bark was easy to dig his claws into. He hauled himself onto a branch and crouched there.

Her large paws struggled to find footing, but her claws latched onto it like burrs. “Hm.” She took a paw off the tree to take another step—step? Crawl?—up, but the lack of support was unexpected, and she nearly fell off. “Hey! Stupid tree.”

"Be careful, make sure you grab onto knobs in the tree over loose bark. As you just experienced, loosing your footing can happen from that." Hawkice warned.

Stag looked at the other cat and saw that they were indeed bigger than them. Huh. He looked at the tree and began to impersonate Hawkice's moves. He swiftly, with a bit of a beginning struggle made it up the tree he smiled and waived his tail at Amberbloom as they climbed the rest of the way. Maybe his stronger hind leg could be useful....hmm he'd think about it later.

Using his advice, Amberbloom’s claws scratched at the tree. She hoisted herself onto the branch and purred. “Totally knew how to do this the whole time! I-sigh!” She screeched as she slipped and hit the ground.
