As Skystar approached the Seastones a wave of nervousness washed over him. This would be his first gathering as leader and it was messing with him a bit. Of course what his own clan thought of him came first, but he wondered how the other leaders would react. Especially to Kestrelstar's death, that would be a heavy one. He wondered if there were any cats in the other clans fond of the previous leader.
Skystar took a whiff of the air and only found WindClan's scent. It seemed no other clans had arrived. Skystar hopped onto his newfound spot on the stones and gave a nod as a greeting to Twilightstar.

RiverClan has arrived.

"Yeah, it's just.. weird." Fernpaw couldn't remember details like that from his previous attendances. But after being gone so long, not seeing the other Clans-- some of which that lived closer-- not here yet, hit different. It felt unreal. Nerve-wracking. He liked it when ShadowClan was within his sights.. "Fish Dad is Kestrelstar." It was a simple confirmation, because his attention was quickly wrapped in the arrival of RiverClan. His plan to see Kestrelstar sooner had been foiled by the river, so maybe--

Where was he?

His eyes swept across the crowd as they were led in by an unfamiliar cat. Fernpaw's chest felt tight. Where -- why wasn't he the one leading the Clan in?

"hold on..." His voice felt quiet. Impossibly so, as he pulled away from the comforts of Bravebird [ @tulle] to intercept a cat he didn't know. A cat who had taken the place of his friend, for a reason unspoken and in this moment, Fernpaw refused to grasp. "Where-- where is he?" His voice strained, looking up at Skystar. "Where's Kestrelstar?" Where's my Fish Dad?

Bravebird
As one of her Clanmates came to greet her, Bravebird gave him a nod in greeting but kept her attention on Fernpaw. She wanted to make sure his first gathering back went along without any hiccups, and was fully prepared to shred any ShadowClan cats that tried to taunt or leer at him. Maybe it was being his mentor, or the similarities she had discovered the two of them had over the course of his training - but she would shoulder the world for Fernpaw, teeth barred at any cat who tried to harm him.

A new scent danced under her nose signaling that RiverClan had arrived. But... they were being led by Sparrowskip. He had been announced as the deputy at the last gathering, hadn't he? Or was it the one before? Bravebird found it odd that he was sitting up there and there was not a single sign of Kestrelstar. Maybe he was sick?

Fernpaw removing himself from Bravebird made her stiffen a bit, as her first reaction was to follow him. But perhaps this was a moment he needed alone - a deputy leading the Clan in was never a good sign. So she sat back, but kept her muscles tense incase she needed to be there for her apprentice. Her ears pushed forward as they strained to hear what Sparrowskip's answer would be.

Hopefully it was just sickness.

[If it’s alright with you, could we have an interaction??]

Moonshade sat down next to Bravebird because he noticed Riverclan coming and thought the gathering would start soon. Moonshade saw the deputy leading and was confused about it, not a sign of Krestlestar. The young warrior looked ahead at their leader, Twilightstar for a brief second then scanned the clearing. His black fur smoothing down as he relaxed a bit.

Mintflower wasn't exactly the world's biggest fan of gatherings. In fact, she did her very best to avoid them where she could; she enjoyed the socialisation aspect, but with all the drama in recent moons, they were simply too political for her to enjoy. Still, she attended where it was expected of her. Following behind Skystar, it was hard not to feel nervous at the prospect of all the clans meeting. Yes, peace was the expectation, but that didn't promise that violence was entirely off the table. Especially with Dawnstar...the creamy she-cat cringed just at the thought of that monster. I hope she doesn't arrive at all...
Settling in amongst the small crowd, she took note of Twilightstar and the gathering of Windclan cats already seated. Windclan was definitely the better of the three other clans if you asked her, so she had no issue sitting amongst the generally polite cats. Despite their good nature, Mintflower decided socialising was still off the table for her - if she could avoid it, she would. So she laid low, hoping the gathering would go smoothly. She wished Flametail could be here, if they were still a member of Shadowclan, but she also reasoned their close relationship would likely raise too many suspicions. Luckily, she knew they would not be turning up alongside that cruel excuse for a leader, so she knew their secret was safe for another night.
What if one of the cats here is a mind reader...? She suddenly thought, awkwardly adjusting her posture as her pale eyes eyed up the crowed suspiciously, and she immediately took to thinking of something else. That's such a dumb thought brain...as if a mind reading cat would care about my secret crush over the thoughts of the leaders sat before them?! Impulsive thoughts, am I right? Adjusting her posture nervously, she continued observing the crowd, eyes drifting up to Skystar occasionally; she wondered how his first gathering as leader would go. Can't be that hard, can it?

Okay... her third gathering... Mistypaw didn't know what to do, now that Kestrelstar was gone. Surely cats would notice, and if she talked with someone from WindClan, they'd question her.

Gosh, this was nerve-wracking. Robinpaw watched her brother Skystar leap onto the stones, and tried to spot Darc-- Maplefall or Peacekit. Then she remembered that they weren't allowed to attend this -- whatever it was?? -- since they were kits and queens. How was she supposed to do this without them?

Skyleaf followed Twilightstar and the other WindClan cats, taking a free place in the clearing as she watched the talk go on. Would anyone approach her, she wondered?

Rippleshade wandered around. No other clans yet, but she was hopeful. Last time they had been late, but she really wants to find some ShadowClan cats and get them to try to explain why what they're doing is okay. Hilariously then she would watch as they try to thing of something on the spot. Too good. Nah, she wasn't that disrespectful. She just wanted to finally see cats that she didn't always see anyway.

The young, now apprentice, walked up to another apprentice. “Hey, I’m Mistypaw, you?” Mistypaw’s silvery-blue fur fluffed up in excitement.

Birdpaw was... quite hesitant to come to this gathering after the catastrophy the last one turned out to be, but she made the choice to come because she wanted to be here. Although the small apprentice was nervous, she hoped tonight would go bunches smoother. If it didn't... this would most likely be her last Gathering for a while.

Mistypaw's grey tail shot up as a cat appeared, but she brought it down quickly, hiding her surprise. She was quite easily shocked these days. "Oh -- uhm -- hi," she replied, head tilting slightly as the WindClan apprentice mentioned her name was Mistypaw. "I... My name is Mistypaw, too." She wasn't sure what to reply.
