JaggedSpot slips from the Camp entrance, then pauses to wait for BlackTail. Once she is sure the blind tom is behind her, she pads through the trees. After a moment, she doubles back to walk by his side. They are silent for a bit, then the she-cat breaks the silence. "Uh... I hope I don't offend you by asking this, but were you borne blind?"

Blacktail quickly followed, slipping out of camp after the she-cat, he blindly gazed at her and his ears twitched as she asked her question. "I was." He admitted. "It's fine, after all, you aren't the first one to ask me this question." He mewed and licked her cheek comfortingly.

Cottonfrost slid forward, keeping his tail above the leaves and his paw steps light. When he was a fox Length away, the dark tom lunged forward, scattering leaves as he pounced. Cottonfrost landed a few mouse-lengths from the creature, who gave a frightened squea, running in the opposite direction the tom had pounced from. Now, with any luck, they would make a catch of at least one squirrel today.

Pinkpaw paused,"Right. Silently or out loud?" She didn't know if it was a dumb question or not but what did it matter.

He flailed his front legs around, screaming and wailing. He watched the creature, his brain still not really registering he had been picked up. I don't wanna die! I don't like that!
