Craterpelt trotted out of camp after Hollywater. "Uh where do you wanna hunt?" He asked. His white flecks stood out as the green-leaf sun shone on his dark pelt.

Sunstream fought back the urge to jump in for the rescue of his son, realizing quickly that he wasn't in the deep end and he wasn't that bad of a swimmer. Soon after, however, the ginger-and-white tom laughed hardily at the catch. "Beautifuly done, Ghostpaw!" he said happily, a purr of pride rumbling through his throat. He then licked the top of his son's head. "With more practice you'll be catching as much fish as a senior warrior! However, I wouldn't try that mouth technique in shallow water again. That's how bears hunt bigger fish during spawning season when they're headed back to the lake. Or so I've heard. Not really good for when they aren't jumping out of the water." The tom smiled at his son, pride rushing through him. "Would you like to keep practicing or do you think you've had enough for now?"

"I think i'll take a break for now so i can dry off."Ghostpaw said.He was pretty sure he had caught enough today for the clan.He had also been able to learn a few tips on hunting he could continue to practice on later,so in his opinion,it had been a good day.He shook off some of the remaining water so he would dry quicker and it wouldn't weigh him down.

Chestnutfall chuckled at her response, admiring her ability to play along with his sarcastic tone. Something about her made him relax; perhaps it was her calm demeanor, or her gentle approach to this rather serious topic. The tabby spotted tom knew he’s been working maybe a little more than the average warrior, but never would have thought it would cause concern to anyone. He didn’t even think anyone would care, actually. Although now that he thought about it, he would have done the same to any other clannmate if they were overworking themselves. He sighed in defeat, ears flattening in shame. “I see...sorry that I’ve worried you.” Chestnutfall’s green orbs met her gaze. “I guess in that case, I should skip the evening patrol and get some rest?” The life returned back to him at that moment, slowly raising his ears with a sheepish smile. Normally he would argue, but the way Rowanflower handled his issue really opened his eyes. He never had anyone to tell him he was overworking or to get some rest since his family broke. This was like fresh air to him.

“Thank you for telling me this.” Chestnutfall gave a genuine smile at his deputy, though saw her as nothing more than a friend at this moment. “I know I can be stubborn sometimes, but you’re right. We can't have me dropping like a fly on the battlefield.” His tail flickered in amusement, lightly brushing Rowanflower’s orange flank in the process. It wasn't until now that he realized how close they were walking, but Chestnutfall wasn't really bothered by it. He always liked Rowanflower, and he especially appreciated her more after this talk. The sun was nearly ready to set in the distance, so naturally, Chestnutfall turned for a moment to see the slowly growing warm light that glittered along the river nearby. A small amount of tension suddenly left the warriors body. “You know,” Chestnutfall mewed, “It’s actually nice to stop and look around every once in a while. I forget how much I enjoy peaceful moments like this….”

Sunstream smiled and nuzzled his son's ear. "Alright, let's take your catch back to the clan then," he said happily, his purr of pride for his son growing a bit louder. He picked up one of the fish, waiting for Ghostpaw to pick up the other one, then started walking back to the clan, that usual spring in his step as he walked.

Ghostpaw picked up the other fish,following his father back to the camp.His tail was held high and he wasn't frustrated at all like he usually was after he went hunting.In fact,he was proud of himself and grateful to his father for teaching hi a few techniques.

Snowy white ears twitched as bushes rustled, and the long grass danced. She had planted herself on a fairly large rock, resting upon the solid heatsourse with her front paws neatly crossed. She loved the way the river smelled, how crisp and clean it was. She was also, often times, drawn by how beautiful it was and how it held so much life for being such a small thing. She knew who belonged to those delicate pawsteps, she had memorized the sound of each of her family members pawsteps as well as their gaits and the amount of time that passed between each new step. These belonged to her dear sister. The mollies tail flicked and she picked herself up gently, than hopped down with ease. The apprentice was never one to pass up an opportunity to chat with one of her siblings, seeing as they were so busy and all.

Mushroompaw trotted over to the Willow, knowing this is where her sibling loved to relax and destress. Which is why she felt a twinge of worry blossoming within her. The caramel feline gently pushed through the limp branches, forest green optics looking around for a few seconds before they finally landed on the calico. "Jewelpaw...hey. How are you doing? With being apprentices and all I'm sure it's a little...busy." she whispered, making her way over to her littermate. Delicate paws barely making noise.

Jewelpaw sat herself in one of the willow's roots her thick tail dropped gently over the other side. A clear sweet breeze blew through her pelt carrying the well known scent of her beloved littermate, Mushroompaw, the molly could here her delicate giant, though only because she could hear the whisper of plants as they were stepped around. At her siblings voice the calico raised her head, her pale green eyes soft. "Hay, Mushroompaw..." She greeted meeting her voice with an equal softness. The young calico hadn't had that bad of a day but all the stress and tension in RiverClan had really affected her. She felt tried, how could she be there for everyone when the whole Clan was in a down mood? There was no way for her to lessen to everyone's problems at once. On top of that Palestream's death and confession was still so clear in her mind she could tell you word for word. Stepping off the root Jewelpaw brushed her head across Mushroompaw's shoulder. " I'm okay, just a little tierd. She answered not wanting to bother her with her troubled thoughts. That was just something she couldn't bring herself to do. It was easy enough to listen to other cat's problems and comfort then but Jewel felt like she was being a burden by telling anyone her problems.
Stepping back the molly gave her littermate a small smile. "What about you, are you alright?" The molly asked her pale green eyes still holding their gentle gleam.

Zodiac continued on his way, completely unaware of the feline watching him. His paw steps started to slow as the sound of water started to tickle his ears. Perhaps he would follow that? He wouldn't mind a drink or a rest for a moment. With the decision, his direction turned slightly, causing him to walk deeper into the territory, the sight of the river entering his field of vision.

Splashcloud soon lost sight of the white-furred tomcat as he turned deeper into Riverclan’s territory. Curiosity threatening to bubble over, she followed him, though at a distance. She moved faster through the territory until she was level with him, and then slowly started to move closer. She made sure she was upwind so her scent would reach the tomcat before she herself did. She didn’t want any jump scares, and definitely wasn’t in a fighting mood. She exited a bush she had been behind, coming to meet the tomcat at the riverbank. “Hello there.” She meowed, hoping her voice sounded friendly.

Moonheart's long slender legs guided her way through the entrance to camp, her chest heaving as she quickly padded her way over to the fresh-kill pile and swiftly took a fish. Moonheart's glowing hazel orbs scanned her clan's camp as she let out a sigh that was muffled from the kill she carried. She stalked over to a messy patch of reeds and lay her aching sleek body down, she glanced at her fellow clanmates happily chatting and sharing tounges. Moonheart glared at the fish laying over her small paws. she carried it over to her spot near the reeds- she didn't feel hungry anymore, she felt a sudden pang of envy as she watched all of the couples sharing tounges and purring hushed sentences to eachother, Moonheart forced a couple bites of her fish down and grumpily padded over to sit outside the warriors den.
