“My trainings going decent.” Ravenpaw replied “I hope to become a warrior as early as I can.”
Partially, she just wanted to get that over with.
But another part of it was that she wanted to catch up with her older apprentice friends.

After giving time for Antpaw to answer as well, she looked at Fleckpaw curiously.

"Battle training is a little difficult," Fleckpaw complains to that, "I love hunting, but battle is another thing entirely. I really hope I won't have to use these skills in action in the near future, I don't think I'm cut out for this." She sounds worried about this fact.

"My training's fine." Antpaw meows shortly. His meow has a tinge of dissatisfaction to it, as if it wasn't actually going fine. "Mentor's great." Antpaw didn't really mean it, but his tone comes out to be extremely sarcastic.

"Antpaw!" Fleckpaw frowns.

“You’ll probably get better at some point.” Ravenpaw said to Fleckpaw honestly. It’s her way of saying ‘you’ll be fine’.
And anyway, Fleckpaw would have to get better.
Fighting was part of being a warrior

She then listened to Antpaw.
“Who’s your mentor?” She questioned as her ear twitched, not noting the sarcasm.

"Sunflowerswirl. Pretty name, isn't it?" Antpaw mocks.

Fleckpaw glances at him with concern.

"What?" Antpaw's face is red as he feels Fleckpaw staring at him, and he snaps at her. "It's not my fault that things are awkward with her. It's like this every single training session, and it sucks. She sucks." Antpaw spits. It's as if he had even forgotten the fact that Ravenpaw was there. "And Wolfhive treats it as if it's my fault when it's not." He not only sounds full of complaint on his mentor, he also sounds equally annoyed at the Hornet.

Now Fleckpaw is really concerned, she remembered Antpaw had barely been able to avoid being demoted by Wolfhive just a few sunrises ago because he talked badly of his mentor; now it was happening again, and in the same place, too.

Antpaw glares at Ravenpaw, "It's cats like you who defend her that make things worse," He hisses, "She's weak, outside and inside, that's what sucks. Awkward and clumsy with a frail heart. She's not cut out to teach someone like me. She didn't even participate in the clan battle against Riverclan, Starclan knows what she was doing at that time." This was starting to get out-of-hand, Antpaw himself didn't even know what he was saying anymore. His mouth was just running off on it's own, saying things he didn't really mean.

“Oh, yes, apologies for defending a cat from your hateful words when it sounds like she did nothing wrong.” She was the one being sarcastic now, but then she went back to her usual tone “It sounds like you’re a petty kit.”

She flicked her tail, her irritation finally starting to show.

“If she wasn’t cut out to teach, Bumblestar wouldn’t have trusted her with an apprentice. Do you believe you’re smarter than Bumblestar?” She questioned.
She respected Bumblestar, and Bumblestar always knew what she was doing. That was obvious.
“Plus, she obviously had to have earned the right to be a warrior.”

Ravenpaw was stating what she considered to be obvious facts.
She wasn’t a cat who argued, just stated the obvious.
She hadn’t even met this Sunflowerswirl, but, just as she had stated, she was clearly trusted enough in the clan to be warrior and mentor.

Why that little... Antpaw's eyes grow in size, and he bares his teeth, ready to lunge at the she-cat and wrestle her to the ground. Did she think she was better than him? This arrogant and stupid cat, likely a moon or two younger than him? He's just about to attack, when Fleckpaw stops him with her body, blocking him from Ravenpaw.

"I know things are very awkward with you and Sunflowerswirl right now, and you're in a bad mood, but you don't need to learn only from your mentor, remember?" Fleckpaw meows neutrally, trying to stop Antpaw from talking any further, "You can ask for a mentor reassignment later if it keeps up, please." She glances at Ravenpaw and dips her head in apology, "I'll be going now, Antpaw needs some time."

Antpaw huffs and lashes his tail angrily on the ground. Ravenpaw. Another do-gooder and rule-stickler. He'll remember that.

Oh.
He had almost leaped at her.
Hm.
She would have to avoid him, just in case.
He seems to have some things he has to work out.

She was Thankful for Fleckpaw being there to stop him, at least.
Battle experience was not something Ravenpaw had just yet.

“Right.” She said to Fleckpaw “Maybe we can talk another time.”
Contrary to popular belief, Ravenpaw did kinda enjoy talking to other cats, even if she was more of a listener in conversations.

She also doesn’t usually get so worked up about things.
How odd.

She gave a short not as she watched Fleckpaw go.

Those two were polar opposites…
