Crowtooth had been letting this meeting pass him by in a haze of emptiness idly taking in the announcements but not reacting. What was the point of it anyway? The clan seemed to be necrotising from the inside out and the tunneller was just losing everything he loved over and over and he was just lost. The skunk striped tom believed in his clan, he really did, Twilightstar was a paragon among cats for all she did and she would get them back on their paws but...... But maybe it was just Crowtooth not being a high rank like they were that made him unable to see it. When the new medicine cat he gave a respectful nod, deciding Peachfrost was good for the role, but still closed his eyes in pain. Coldamber had earned her place as medicine cat and did so much for the clan and in a single incident had that all ripped away from her.... It just wasnt fair.

Wolffang though.... The tunneller lifted his head to look up at the new deputy considering the option for a moment before deciding he liked the choice. Maybe Wolffang wasnt the most personable cat and had some questionable ideals but he was no doubt a strong fighter. Windclan had been kicked around a lot latley and needed strength and might to come back strong Wolffang had to be able to provide that right? Why else would he be elected, Twilightstar wouldnt have chosen a cat ill suited for this role. Crowtooth would do his best to back this new deputy like he did all the windclan high ranks, it'd work out they were leaders for a reason.

The large windclan molly seemed to be taking this very seriously so far, Snakeheart could seriously respect a cat that gave this duty the effort it deserves. Frostpaw hadnt, seemingly neither did Rainywhisker the prior cat caring more about the glory it brought her and the later didnt seem to care enough at all something that seriously rubbed the riverclans tom fur the wrong way. Cats lives were on the line and a bad medicine cat could cripple a clan, if you didnt have all the knowledge open to you you took it where ever you could at any opportunity and never let any knowledge go. Though he could understand taking that learning in stages to not get overwhelmed.

"Sounds reasonable but Ill have to head off after that, Ive no doubt multiple cats have gotten injured since Ive been gone doing something stupid and I dont want to leave the clan alone more then necessary." If Peachfrost wanted more training then he'd be able to give in the patrol she'd have to hunt him down in riverclan or manage on what she could get from him during medicine cat meetings and gatherings. It was possible to learn that way, he did it, but it wasnt as efficient.
"Uuuuh who do you want to take if anyone? I dont know your clanmates or who you might want to have go here (I personally like to have a group of cats I trust on herb patrols to lead them if Im busy or go with me) but I'd like to have Kestrelwing go with us. Its not that I dont trust riverclan but he's protective and will get grumpy if he doesnt go with us, plus Ive had him on herb patrols before he's not half bad at it. Everyone else will have to be your call though, the only windclan cat Im familiar with is Seedheart, Twilightstar assigned her to me to assist when I first arrived."

Stars this was awkward Snakeheart could tell something was up and off about Peachfrosts mood but she needed the knowledge so he couldnt just walk away..... Coldamber was so much easier to talk with.

Silentstorm wasn't looking at him anymore, instead, she was staring at Rosebriar and Wolffang, her eyes narrowed. Silentstorm gasped at the shapes coming from Rosebriars mouth. Was she? No. Her eyes hardened into a layer of ice and she slipped over to Rosebriar, as smooth as a snake. "If that's what you think, what am I?" She had said that Windclan didn't need cats without hearing. Was that what Rosebriar thought of her? Someone that Windclsn had to carry around? And the fact that she was the sister of Wolffang. Did he agree?

The queen purred in her sleep. She dreamt of when she had already birthed her first litter and Desertkit asking why they were so small. She smiled in her sleep.

Bunnypaw flicked her tail from left to right in an angry cycle. She felt the cats around her picking their Apprentices they were given and asking if they wanted to go out of camp. She wasn't allowed out of camp, though. She was mad she wasn't allowed out of camp, too. She lashed her tail once more before sitting up and staring at the others, letting her eyes turn to icy slits as she stared at them with her venomous glare.
