Silentpaw nodded lightly at Darkfall's words, quickly trailing behind him. He didn't mind that technically, Darkfall was doing most, or all, of the work. He just needed to get this done and over with. Why did ShadowClan live in such muddy and uncomfortable places? Realising he was almost directly behind the large dark tabby, Silentpaw snuck a glance behind him to see if Mudslide was following. Well, from a first glance, she did not seem like the type to wander away on her own, but you never know.
Please feel free to bump me on any ongoing RPs. I have ADHD and it gets really hard for me to keep track of all my RPs ^^

Mudslide was starting to feel more and more uncomfortable the longer her paws stayed in the mud. She twitched her ears, almost in silent protest. She gave the border one last once over before she allowed her gaze to fall onto the ground. Her ears however stayed high and alert. She was starting to believe now would be a good time to go.
How Cricketpaw had... defied her? Great StarClan, Larkwing does not have the energy to spare for what's probably nothing more than a petty squabble. Cricketpaw, for her part, doesn't seem to know either. So that's great.
"Ooookayy, I don't actually need any part in your personal disagreements, thanks," she says through a strained smile. "Let's just... go get those cattails, yeah?" That dealt with now, the former leader leads the way out into the territory and towards their border with ShadowClan.
The wet, squishy ground has grown colder in the growing Leaf-Fall, but the cattails seem to be okay for now. There won't be many of them left, soon, so they'd better collect as much as they can now.
"There's some cattails and other reeds here, try and get as much as you can carry." That said, Larkwing takes her own advice and gathers as much as she can hold, waiting for the other two to grab what they can as well.
Larkwing seemed to be agitated at the disagreement, and Cricket'Paw could feel a bit of her own fear rising up.
"Okay..."just collect weeds and cattails, Rosehawk hadn't answered her questions and now, she tentatively started to gather some of the weeds and cattails.
Quickly, Larkwing was getting the feeling that Rosehawk didn't like her just because she wasn't willing to entertain whatever drama she had concocted for her apprentice. If cats could nervously sweat, you can bet your ass Larkwing would be doing so right now, the awkward energy in the air becoming suffocating even just as it was.
Clearing her throat awkwardly, Larkwing gathers all she can carry. Once everyone was all set, she'd lead the group back to camp.
Floodsight ✦ RiverClan | 22 moons | Mind Reader ; Beefed Up T3 ; empty slot
The silver cream coloured she-cat wanted to wait for Amberdusk to lead them ahead, but it didn't seem like it would be too big of a deal if Floodsight led them halfway. Afterall, they couldn't keep sitting there and lumbering about before one of them stepped up. Floodsight followed the usual path towards Saltmeadow Marsh, and checked back from time to time if the others were following in line.
As they neared the border, Floodsight cautiously reminded the apprentice, "Stick close to us, alright? This is Saltmeadow Marsh, our border with ShadowClan as you can tell by their smell. It's usually...alright, but anything could happen."
She didn't want to scare the little one, but truth be told, these things needed to be share and they should be ready for anything to happen. Her dim blue eyes gaze over to the other warrior with her tail flicking towards the border. Floodsight had slowed down to let Amberdusk take the lead. "I'll take the back end."
Featherpaw looked around at her surroundings as they made their way to Saltmeadow Marsh, constantly taking in her surroundings. This wasn't technically her first time out of camp, she had sneaked out, gotten lost, and somehow managed to find her way back to the border. But the wasn't a fun time. This was however, and she seemed fascinated by everything, but occasionally jumped when things like a simple crow called. When they reached the border, Floodsight was explaining something but she wasn't really paying attention, as she was still taking in her surroundings. "Oh- huh? Stick close to you two? Got it" she mewed, staying close but still taking in her surroundings, taking in every little detail and scent she could find.
It was almost, overwhelming by the amount of sights and sounds and scents she was getting, only just starting to get used to it.

The dark-furred cat kept behind the group until about halfway to the border. They... had a creeping feeling that something would go wrong. "Featherpaw stay at least five tail-lengths from the border, alright? I dont want you gettin' killed." They flicked their tail, beckoning Floodsight to help mark the border.
"You go down that way, marking along the border, be vigilant, and don't lose focus. Alright? Featherpaw, follow and watch, you're gonna need to learn how to mark borders, and now's a good of a time as any."
