Fllenbreeze looked at her kits, she dropped her head, blood everywhere, all over her silver pelt. "Fallenbreeze? Fallenbreeze..." she whispered not wanting to scare any kits, "Look after our kits.." she closed her eyes. One last frosty breath. Her body went limp, not breathing no movement. Dead.

Featherkit mewed, she was starving. She had a disadvantage, being smaller and last born she had less chance of living. She crawled over to her dad. She resembled her mother more then any other kits in the litter. She mewed again.

Fallenbreeze hesitantly padded over to the little pile of kits. He gently laid down, and curled his warm tail around them. Looking down as the kits pawed at the air, he blinked slowly and in disbelief. Fernspring was gone.

Dahliapetal, a nursing queen, store in horror at the sight of the dead she-cat and her alive kits. The tabby strode up to Fallenbreeze. The molly barley knew the tom, but she pushed it aside. "I'm so sorry..." Dahliapetal whispered. The brown she-cat looked at the three kits; whom were snug asleep next to their dead mothers pelt.

Quickly glancing at the two kits of her own, Dahliapetal searched his gaze for a brief moment, before looking at the tom's dead mate and surviving kits. "I...I could raise them." She said blankly. The molly didn't do it out of wanting; only sympathy. She wasn't sure how her kits, Shadowkit and Needlekit would take it, but she couldn't go back now.

Fallenbreeze snapped back to reality. "Re-really?" He asked, looking at his own kits then towards hers. "Five kits? Ca-can you handle that?" He didn't want to be a burden on any other cat, regardless of the horrible circumstances.
