Pistachio paused," No. I was the runt of my litter and was teased so I decided originally to be a fighter, but I always backed out of fights running, I became a guard then, but ended up panicking when I had to do something and fleeing. I became a hunter then, after I half killed my prey I started treating the prey's wounds so I became a healer." She replied.

Runt nodded in understanding.She had thought about becoming a fighter,intill she saw how harsh the fights could be.But that left her with nothing else to do besides hunting or healing,and now that she had met Pistachio,she was determined to be a healer intill she had a opportunity to leave."That makes sense." She said.

Pistachio replied casually," I only leave the den twice a day, to get food off the fresh kill pile, but when it's herb collection day, I'm alone in the territory." She meowed.

Shadow nodded, making a small note in her mind. She would take Icarus into the territory as soon as possible. She noticed the tom's question, thinking for a moment. "Well, you wouldn't get the juice out if you didn't chew it up. All you do is take a small bit, chew it and place it on the wound. You could also use cobwebs to hold it." She mewed, placing the herb in the pile along with a small cobweb. "I use these for bleeding and holding things in place." Shadow flicked her tail, pulling a small purple flower with the steam attached. "Any guess on what this does? It's called Watermint."

Oh so it's the juice of the plant that does the healing.. That makes more sense than what I was thinking! Jeez, get it together Icarius, you'll never be the greatest healer if you keep thinking stupid things like that! Shaking his head a bit, he would dawn an even brighter grin. He wouldn't get down on himself for his stupid ideas, it was just a way for him to learn even more, to be sure of everything he did even if he was always sure of his answer anyways, even when it was wrong. "Oohh, cobwebs huh?"
Tilting his head, he would watch her place the herb in a pile, though his eyes moreso focusing on the cobweb at the moment since that was what they were now talking about. Reaching out a paw, he would go to prod at the cobweb before pulling his paw back and realizing that it was stuck to him. Brows arching in surprise, he'd flick his paw to try and get it off before rubbing at the ground and turning the cobweb into a grass filled, sticky ball that was very likely unusable now. "That stuck's like super sticky, no wonder you use it to keep things in place!"
Now his attention was brought to the new herb, the purple flower. Leaning in close to the flower, he would take a quick sniff before pausing, furrowing his brow. Watermint.. Watermint.. Minty...
"Oh I know, bellyaches right? Psh, what am I saying, of course it's bellyaches!" Sitting up straight, he would grin again and nod his head vigorously as if he were already agreeing that his answer was right.

Shadow let out a small purr, she chose to do something a bit harder. The tortoiseshell grabbed a small leaf wrap, pulling it back a little bit. Shadow felt slightly tense, choosing to just show him instead. "This is a Death berry. Do not give it to any cat, ever. If a kit eats it, give them yarrow until they throw up. Now, this is an important herb. If a cat is suffering from pain. And there is nothing you can do. Use this as a last resort to end a cats pain. But that is highly unlikely, highly." She mewed, making sure to explain it clearly. She pushed it away from the others. Shadow didn't want it to touch anything. "After poking it, or even moving it wash your paws. and keep it covered in a leaf wrap." Shadow used some spare moss, cleaning her front paws with a small bit of water, she moved it into a pile of herbs she needed to throw out. "Now, There are a few more things you need to learn about herbs. Are you really ready?"

"Okay," She looked at a Juniper Berry. "This is a Juniper Berry, it stops... Bellyaches, right?"
