Ooooooh ok this was one of those shy cats. Yeah the mumble-y ones who kinda cowered rather then finding steel and facing even dwindling odds like the warriors they were training to be did. Though this wasnt dwindling odds of facing down a predator or foe though, this was a gathering and as harmless as times got. Well Bleedingpaw wasnt the most inclined to like these cats but it was tolerable and excusable in young apprentices at least. If Stonepaw was an adult Bleedingpaw would be quickly leaving.


Though the tom wasnt the most pleased that Stonepaw apparently couldnt remember something so important as the details of the starcave collapse and that was clear by a twist of his mouth.


The pretty bengal didnt comment though, instead snorting at the concerns about him, waving it off even as the motion caused him to sway.
"Ive got some scrapes as you can see but I'd hardly count that as an injury. Im fine, Im just like this, always have been I just cant sit straight and still.

Whats wrong with you though youre acting kinda.... drifty. Did you loose someone or something? I was kind of like them when I grieved my Mama but I stayed home from gatherings until I felt better."
That was the reasonable decision after all. When at a gathering you were representing your clan and right now Stonepaw was kind of representing Riverclan as.... well kind of weak which was IRONIC given Bleeingpaw was the heavily disabled one here. Though it was riverclan, from everything he'd been taught about them maybe it was accurate.

Not that he disliked Stonepaw thus far really, or was being outwardly rude. It just just thus far there hadnt been much of an impression here.

So he wasn't hurt then. That was good. She didn't question his words any further, like what just being like that meant- she simply accepted what he said. Stonepaw did notice the grimace on Bleedingpaw's face, how he seemed not very glad to be talking to her. She knew that cats from other clans often disliked eachother, but Stonepaw didn't know what she had done.

"...There's nothing wrong," she said, mustering a clearness to her voice that wasn't there before, "with me." Stonepaw wasn't upset, but something about the way Bleedingpaw spoke to her rubbed her the wrong way, pushing Stonepaw to carry herself a little stronger.

Stonepaw wished she could talk to Bleedingpaw when she was feeling better, but as of now she couldn't hold a real conversation. And she couldn't tell if he was trying to be rude to her or not, but as she often assumed the best in people, Stonepaw decided to trust that Bleedingpaw was a nice cat. So she didn't say anything else, just sat next to Bleedingpaw in silence.

She still couldn't make sense of all the announcements, but Stonepaw did manage to focus when, after Owlstar's final words, an uneasy buzz began among the Riverclan cats. Cobwebstorm was... demoted? Why? What had happened? Cobwebstorm just became a real medicine cat, so why was Owlstar making her a warrior again? Thinking about it caused Stonepaw's head to start throbbing, too tired to think through what was happening. The apprentice made a note to talk to Adderstrike about it later, and with shaking paws, she slowly got up and gave Bleedingpaw a small nod. "Thanks for talking with me," she whispered, hoping that maybe they could meet again sometime.

Now, to get home.

Stonepaw was obviously unsteady, struggling to even put her paws in the right place, and her eyes were especially dull with exhaustion. She tried to follow the rest of her leaving clanmates, slowly. Stonepaw had to keep walking, that was all.

Just... one paw, in front of the other...

The gathering wasn't... the most smooth, but it could be worse.
Caveclaw took note of Cobwebstorm's demotion.
If it was what needed to be done to avoid war on RiverClan again, they completely understood it.

Now, Lionhearts had been instructed to stick to the back.

So, that's what Caveclaw did as she began walking with the rest of RiverClan.

Dawnstar's hiss did not go unnoticed by him. It was directed at him, after all. And he knew exactly why. Damned Fire|bloom. As soon as her gaze landed on him, he shot her a scowl, and the she-cat was quick to turn away. But... She was... Talking to someone else? Oh well, at least it would keep her from trying to sneak glances at him.

He pressed his lips to a thin line at the news of Cobwebstorm's demotion, finding it quite ridiculous that a RiverClan medicine cat had decided to invade the ThunderClan leader's dreams. There had to be a reason to do such a risky thing, but what was it? It couldn't have been just curiosity. That would have been very foolish. The RiverClan cats were no doubt shocked by the news that had just been dumped on them, and for a good reason, too. They hadn't known about it prior to the Gathering, it seemed, so it was just as much news it was to them and to the rest of the Clans.

At Dawnstar's words to Mistlewhisker, he was almost instantly drawn to his paws, standing now instead of sitting, waiting for the 'let's go' from Mistlewhisker so he can head back home. He did not want to think of this moon's Gathering any longer. Fire|bloom was done business. He didn't want anything to do with her.

"Yeah he deserved it. He deserved worse than what he got, even. But I still shouldn't've done it." Salamanderpaw seethes. With everything else going on, she's gotta learn to keep her trap shut tight sooner than later. It's just—hard.

"Alright. When Owlstar starts putting together a patrol or whatever's gonna be helping out, I'll make sure we get to go." She picks at the ground in anticipation. They're not young-young, they're not total dummies, they're cool and strong and useful...easy sell, right? Right. Salamanderpaw's certain they'll get to both help out. Because she says so. So there.

Riverclan! Know that Cobwebstorm will be removed from 'er position 'cuz of 'er actions. I'll further discuss the matter once we hit home.

Hhhh...yeah, that's probably the smart thing to do. Whatever Cobwebstorm's got going on, if it ever happens again with another Thunderclanner, they're all doomed. And if any of those worms has some kinda real vendetta, they could very well just lie and say she visited them, too. You don't have to prove a dream. She just wishes Bumblestar wasn't here to hear of Cobwebstorm's impending demotion. Her or any of them. Wishes it wasn't the last thing said before Riverclan left for the night. Here you go, Thunderturd, you got what you wanted because you tantrumed hard enough. Shame on them. Shame on Riverclan. Just...shame. How long will they have to slink around on eggshells like this? It's beyond frustrating. She gets it, she does. But. Rrrrghhhhh!!

"If Starclan does anything, anything at all after we dig their useless butts out of the rubble, I hope they send those rats another plague." She hisses lowly, finally standing and giving Seapaw's shoulder a small bump. "C'mon, we're going back together. Stay close, I got you." She puffs up and squares her shoulders to prove it, but in the moment she looks no stronger or livelier than most of the Riverclan crowd as they trickle out. Just that kinda night.

Cobwebstorm will be removed from 'er position 'cuz of 'er actions. Huh. Well, Owls wasn’t off to a bad start of leadership, hm? Doing some good, needed clearing of a traitor. Their left ear flicked upon hearing a growl nearby. Their own clanmate, what was up with this one? SunflowerFlare glanced over curiously, though their usual judgmental look stayed in their remaining eye. The tripod hopped over close to the she as the clan assembled to make their return. “What’s up with you?”

The RiverClanner snorted softly at the question, as if unable to believe that the older warrior had just asked her that. ''Cobwebstorm's demotion took me by surprise, is all,'' She responded with a flick of her ears, emerald hues narrowing down to slits. ''...and the fact that Owlstar so easily gave into Bumblestar's wishes. The other three Clans have done nothing but boss us around since we returned to our territory---not to mention that they are the very reason we left in the first place---and none of the past three leaders---Fadingstar, Stormstar, Owlstar---have done anything about it since. You know what I think?''

Primroseadder turned her gaze to meet Sunflowerflare's eyes. ''RiverClan has had too many leadership changes within a hot minute. I think that the other Clans are seeing us as weak and vulnerable due to this, and they're tryin' to get the best of us and are takin' advantage of us. Well, that time's over. I'm sick and tired of RiverClan bein' treated like prey, even if our warriors are to blame. I mean, Bumblestar could at least have been civil!''

Well then, the Gathering was... well... interesting. Mistlewhisker was intruiged--and a little unnerved--to hear about the Star Cave. Surely their connection to StarClan wouldn't fade completely, even if the previously used cave was no longer available. The Deputy's tail tapped on the ground, mulling over the information presented to her, not interested in the downfall of yet another medicine cat. It seemed they were all going through medicine cats swiftly. Well, except WindClan.

Soon enough, the Gathering was over. The Leaders and medicine cats congregating below the Sea Stones to check out the collapsed cave. Mistlewhisker would have liked to go, but knew that if Sleepysunrise went, Dawnstar would go, which left bringing ShadowClan home to her. Not that she minded--she would be sure to get an update when her mate returned home.

Dawnstar's voice broke through her reverie, and the Deputy dutifully nodded at the order to take the clan home. And to make sure their kittens hadn't decided to test their mothers' patience again. Mistlewhisker grunted in amusement, returning the headbutt with a lick to Dawnstar's cheek. It was... odd, being affectionate in front of others. But suddenly the cold wasn't as biting, and Mistlewhisker's steps were lighter as she crossed the sands.

"ShadowClan! Let us return home."

[ShadowClan has left the Gathering!]

Rosemarypaw watched in silent horror as events started to unfold so swiftly before his very eyes. Yelling, threats, scary. Their high ranks are being useless again, Spiritbunny had warned Rosemarypaw against such high ranks and now once more his safety, Drizzlepaw's safety was being threatened because of one. Because this Cobwebstorm was poking in Thunderclan dreams... he could see how that could be so invasive. Often times, the tripod would dream about Spiritbunny, and his siblings, if a stranger from another clan suddenly appeared he would be upset too.

Not too mention that Cobwebstorm had snapped when Stormstar was brought home. That was.... it reminded him a bit of when Stormstar and Fadingstar snapped at Mama when Mama was defending herself against their unfairness. It was becoming more and more apparent that Spiritbunny's words were true. Owlstar demoted Cobwebstorm. Well, that solves that issue then. Primroseadder was swift to start guding them back home after that but they were interrupted by a differet warrior that Rosemarypaw wasn't familiar with.

Though they lacked a leg like Rosemarypaw did, he couldn't help but be more trustful of the feline because of the commonality. The warrior he was with didn't like it though. Rosemarypaw frowned... that didn't seem right. Cobwebstorm did something bad, and upset Bumblestar, and so Owlstar put her in timeout. That's what happens. Owlstar didn't seem pushed into it. This wasn't the first concern with Cobwebstorm as well. He heard the whispers about her first gathering and how she had gotten publicly upset at one of the shadowclan medicine cats.

"It seems like the best decision. A timeout to learn to do better." He whispered shyly, mostly to himself. It was stressing him out that Primroseadder was speaking so openly about such matters at a place where anyone can hear. These cats aren't friends. You can't show weakness. And that's what Primroseadder is doing.
