"I'll make sure you take that back!" Nightshade darted forward. Turtle squeaked and immediately ran the other way.

"Blackstorm.." Roarclaw blinked, his smile melting away as his amber gaze fixed ahead. "Well he's... He can seem pretty grumpy at times. But he's sort of like an apprentice still, sometimes.." The golden Tom blinked, shaking his head. "He's a little distant lately, though."

"Foxthorn!" Snowstar called, watching Nightshade and Turtlesong with an amused look.
"Yessss?" Foxthorn poked his head out again, blinking at his sister.
"You'll be tending to Goldensky and Honeyfur for the next moon." Snowstar said sweetly, flicking her black tail toward her brother.
"That's not faaaaiiirrr!" Foxthorn whined, ears going back.
"Life's not fair." Snowstar smirked.

Morningblue strode through Thunderclan territory with his sister, Jaystorm at his side. The pair came to a beech grove, the ground littered with beechnuts. He dropped into a crouch and stalked through the underbrush, alert for the sound of prey.

Jaystorm, out of the nursery for the first time since she'd been pregnant with her and Thrushwing's kits, panted hard as she followed her sibling. She fought back an amused purr as Morningblue began to try hunting. "Morningblue, I can't exactly hunt with you when I'm having kits in about a moon." Though there was always a chance they could come early or late, she didn't want to alarm her brother by saying a sooner date than their medicine cat. The pretty she-cat had been pregnant for exactly a moon now, and trust me, she's been counting the days. Walking- no, waddling- around camp all day, constantly tired and hungry, wasn't exactly ideal. But she heard from the other queens in the ThunderClan nursery that once the bundles of joy were born, it would be well worth it.

"Hm," Bubblestep frowned, "that's pretty similar to Tinyclaw. She just won't let me get close to her. We were best friends as kits, and I don't know where it went wrong."

"I'm very sorry about the rabbit, by the way," Berry turned her attention back to Snowstar. "I didn't know it belonged to you."

"No no no no no!" Turtlesong yowled, sprinting as fast as her short legs could carry her. Unfortunately, that wasn't fast enough.
"Caught ya!" Nightshade barreled into her, sending them both rolling. They came to a stop with both in a laughing mess.
"You way a ton!" Turtlesong purred, her back legs kicking him.
"You're just tiny," Nightshade grinned. "This is all muscle."
"Plus that fat squirrel you ate yesterday," Turtlesong joked, earning a light swat on her left ear. They both shared another laugh, then took a few seconds to take in their current position.
Nightshade cleared his throat, looking away in sudden embarrassment "Here, let get--oh?" his ears shot up and he blinked when Turtlesong's tongue met his cheek. He scrambled off of her, sitting and watching her roll onto her paws.
"That was my apology," she explained, eyes sparkling with slight amusement.

Nightshade felt his fur heat up. "Oh, well apology accepted."
