Tears stung the corners of Larkswoop's eyes, and she wrapped her plumy tail tighter around her broad-shouldered body. ''S-So you don't mind th-that my mother was a RiverClan cat at birth..?'' Her voice was soft, just barely above a whisper.

A shaky purr vibrated through Larkswoop's body as she pressed her muzzle to Finchswoop's chest fur. ''Thank you, Finchswoop. I appreciate that.''

Larkswoop purred approvingly, giving a wave of her plumy tail. ''That was excellent, Dawnpaw. You'll be a warrior in no time, if you keep it up.''

She purs softly appreciating the praise from Larkswoop "Thank you larkswoop." She mews respectfully and dips her head in respect once she returns to her paws.

With this morning having been a bust at trying to climb once again, Redhawk had resided to laying off to the side of the clearing with the vole she had taken from the fresh-kill pile. But with her good paw she continued to bat it back and forth for a bit, ears pulled back. She knew it was probably a good idea to eat, and perhaps seek out either Elkpaw to see how he was doing or Brindlepaw to take them out training, but the hornet couldn't bring herself out of this self-pity pool she was currently soaking in.

Briefly, her gaze flickered to her twisted front paw that lay uselessly in front of her. The spark of tears in her eyes had her looking away and she used the back of her good paw to wipe them away. So much had happened lately that it made Red's head spin. Her paw getting mangled, Crowpaw's betrayal, the exile of RiverClan, Elkpaw's injury... After a bit the hornet leaned forward to take a bite of her vole, but it was tasteless as she swallowed so she went to lay her head on her paws, eyes watching her Clanmates as they went about their daily lives in the clearing.

Rising storm walked out of the nursery just delivering some food to the queens when the tom saw Redhawk in the corner of the camp rising could tell something was wrong by the she-cats body movements and by her face rising felt bad for her he paw got mangled in a freak accident and he knew shes been trying to relearn to climb rising also needed that he looked at his leg where deep scars laid from the Riverclan cat but now was not time for self pitty he grabbed himself a squirrel and walked over to redhawk siting down near them looking at them his ears pinned back slightly ".." he choked on his words unsure how to comfort cats "Hey Redhawk a-are you okay?" he asked the she cat his eyes were soft when he spoke feeling bad that a clanmate was upset

Dawnkit nodded, standing to head towards the nursery. "Prolly a good idea. I still need rest..." She trailed off. Once she reached the entrance, the kit turned back to this new cat. "Um ... what's your name? So I can finds ya later, I mean." The tom had so far been strangely kind to her, so she may as well try to be friendly.

it's early sunrise when the blinding morning sun shines through the vine and moss covered entrance of the warrior's den, right in sunflare's eyes. the toms eyes slowly crack open, followed by a couple slow blinks. it's only mere moments before he's stretching and leaving his nest, seemingly energized despite it being so early. he makes quick work of exiting the warrior's den, then grooming his fur (which, is a bit difficult, it always remains wild looking in the end either way).

with an inhale, the warrior grins. today is magnificent!, he thinks, eyes widening just a smidge. it's barely started, but sunflare's already able to tell that today will be amazing. he's very optimistic. bright amber gaze sweeping across the camp, he approaches one of the few cats awake at the hour. marching over, he offers a wide smile.

"larkswoop!" the tabby greets, voice booming. "it's a great morning for hunting, isn't it?" the prey pile was fairing pretty well, but in sunflare's mind there's nothing wrong with adding more!

Larkswoop's head shot up at the sound of her name, and she got to her paws, bounding over to Sunflare in a couple of swift movements.

''It's a great day to go out and hunt, if that's what you're suggesting,'' The broad-shouldered tabby chirped in response to her Clanmate.

Alpinepaw was listening to Dawnpaw and Larkswoop's conversation for several minutes. She attempted to climb, but her skills were clearly lacking. She slowly climbed while trying to remember the steps.
