Spottedpaw bounded quickly out of the apprentices’ den. She wanted to hunt for the clan today, and she did. She made a swift glance at the prey pile, than back to the entrance. The prey pile was only a bit smaller than average, but every cat in this clan knows it’s gonna be bigger by the end of the day. She was at the exit, head and tail high, ready to hunt, finally by herself. She was gonna catch so much prey, to feed her clan, and make them stronger! Of course that’s what Dawnstar would do, and no cats that were week didn’t deserve food. Wait no, that’s not right, unless Dawnstar deems them unworthy, then they can’t have the food that Spottedpaw worked hard for to catch, when they can’t even catch it themselves. She let in a deep breath, the let out sigh.

(Feel free for a warrior to catch her for leaving the camp by herself. let’s see where that goes from here! I’d also like Spottedpaw not to get in trouble.)

Bushykit honestly had no idea what to do. He was bored. Very bored. He wanted to sleep, but also eat. He wanted to play with someone yet also not, if that could make sense. The little russian blue let out a huff, rolling onto his back and wriggling around. Bored, bored bored. What. To. Do. Maybe he could find his siblings to annoy them? Where were they? Maybe they were eating ... not fair! The little tom wanted to eat too. Everything was dark, though, He couldn't see. That was his problem. He also couln't hear because his left ear was deaf. The only thing on the young feline's mind right now other than his siblings was the intoxicating and delicious scent of food. Food. Hungry. Mouse. Rabbit. Fish. Frog. Frog. Bug. Mud. Rolling. Dirty. Water. Ew. Riverclan. Swimming. Ew. Riv- Bushykit stopped himself going into the endless cycle of ew, riverclan and swimming thoughts. His brain was weird. He could admit that. Hungry. Food. Frog. Frog. Frog. Frog!

The she-kit gave a silenced sigh. She turned her head, noticing her brother, Bushykit, she smiled. She padded over, her paws hitting the ground silently, according to her. They really did make quiet a bit of noise. She looked at her brother, and gently tapped him with her tail. A gentle breeze blew against her fur, but she didn't seem to notice, or didn't care. Her blue eyes looked carefully around the camp, searching for her and Bushykit's siblings, the Russian blue kits. After failing, her eyes moved to the Fresh-kill pile, and she looked at it hungrily.

He gave the tom a side glance as he finished his sentence. He likes being sly and it likes seeing Elmshadow's reaction to it.

Elmshadow shrugged. "Maybe you're right. Or maybe I've nothing better to do." He yawned.

Batsong looks at him and flicks his tail over the warrior's nose.
"Nothing better to do than nap, it seems. You should rest. You're not needed for anything else at the moment so best you try and get some sleep before you do. I'll make sure not to let anyone bother you."

He let out a nervous laugh, not getting the joke but enjoying the tom's presence nonetheless. Badgersight looked down at his paws, then up at Batsong "I hope it's not too bold of me, but would you like to perhaps go for a walk with me? I know the queens would watch Dovekit and Pigeonkit while we're out" He said, his nerves swirling in his stomach as he looked down at Batsong.

Elmshadow raised an eyebrow and looked over at Batsong. "Is that you trying to get rid of me? Interesting role reversal, I think I should feel offended." In spite of himself, Elmshadow felt the humor and lightness in it.

Batsong snorts a bit. He nudged the warrior over with his paw lightly.
"You can stay if you want, fuzz-brain." He looks at the tom and gives him a small smile. His heart felt light for once. He liked it. It might just be him noticing he can actually friend this cat.

"Of course! My legs could use the exercise. Being cooped up in the nursery isn't much fun after all."

Badgersight nodded and smiled "The nursery was boring and stuffy as a kit, I can only imagine how bad it'd be as a warrior" He chuckled slowly standing, the scar on his right shoulder caused the tom to struggle. He gritted his teeth as a sharp pain shot through his shoulder. He took a deep breath before straightening the rest of the way up. He smiled sheepishly.

Batsong tilts his head and leans over, gently licking over the wound to soothe it a bit.
"Best you see Bouncepaw for the pain. And yes, it is boring and stuffy... but the joy of kits is worth it. They make me feel alive, which is new... I do hope to have my own, as in carry them and birth them myself. What was it like being a parent?"
